Dan was outstanding in terms of explaining the closing procedure, breakdown of financial cost to the seller, working through the CO-OP and broker. I would recommend him on any real estate transaction.

Dan is an excellent and knowledgable real estate attorney. He helped us on two real estate deals, neither of which worked out, but we will certainly be using him for the next one. As someone who is also an agent and a mortgage lender, he not only understand the legal nuances and is incredibly detail-oriented but also has a unique and valuable perspective on the financial and business aspects of real estate. Dan acted as buyers attorney for me purchasing a Brooklyn condo and I was extremely impressed with him from start to finish. I picked up the phone to him based on his google review presence and he was immediately available on the phone (no paralegal or secretary to get thru) and his demeanour is very reassuring right thru the process. I cannot say enough about the great job that Dan did on my deal. The seller was a bank and very uncooperative, but Dan managed them extremely well and was able to make the deal happen. Full disclosure, I know Dan personally on a casual basis, which can be good or concerning when fully disclosing your personal finances to someone. That being said, I used to own a mortgage company in another state and I have very high expectations from someone handing my personal business. My personal impression of Dan has always been very high, both to his integrity and the way he expresses his perspective. So, I approached him and asked for him to complete a refi for me. He was very professional and also highly knowledgeable of current programs and guidelines. He was communicative throughout the process. We got a great rate with minimal fees and an easy process. Highly recommended!
