Anthony “Tony” and his team were OUTSTANDING. I had received a serious moving violation in the State of New Jersey and felt wrongfully accused, thinking I had a case to fight it. I am a senior executive from Manhattan, NYC, and not knowing the NJ laws well - in addition to having limited connections in this type of law - I did EXTENSIVE research on AVVO and other sites. After about 10-12 interviews with other attorney candidates (seriously), I hired Tony. He came off incredibly experienced, knew the judge, the prosecutor and even the police officers in the county of my infraction. As a defense attorney AND a former prosecutor, Tony knew the NJ laws inside and out, from both sides of the aisle. More importantly, Tony struck me as a good man - someone I trusted. I few weeks later my hiring Tony would prove to be the best decision I could have made in facing a scary situation. He and his team dug deep into my case, received all the discovery and put together a position that would result in making a deal with the county prosecutor BEFORE I ever went in front of the judge! I was off before any proceedings ever started! During the weeks between the incident and the court hearing, Tony treated me like I was a cousin, or nephew, or some close family-member. He checked in on me. He responded within minutes of my emails, even while on vacation with his family. Tony kept me informed every step of the way; even if he didn’t have news, he would tell me that. The end-result is what I hired Tony to accomplish, but THE WAY in which he went about it is the reason why I would recommend him to anyone in trouble, and why I’m taking the time to share my experience with him today. I can’t say enough about this man’s command of the law, and his integrity.

John and his secretary handled a case for me with speed and professionalism. They were both highly responsive to both emails and phone calls. He worked favorably with myself, the prosecutor and judge. His demeanor both outside and inside of court was incredibly fitting to the situation (meaning I never felt uncomfortable in a nerve wracking situation). I would definitely hire him again, though hopefully won't need to, but surely recommend him.

I can't speak to the rest of the attorneys, but as far as I know, Larry is not "padding" any bills and often provides courtesies to his client by way of billing. Larry is an excellent matrimonial attorney. My wife knows him well and it is just simply untrue.

Larry helped me through a difficult divorce. Yes he cost money but quality is worth it. In the long run he saved me thousands. There are no words to thank him enough.

Very professional. Very direct. Focuses on relevant facts and does not take unnecessary time (which would cost more money).

Mr. Velez was able to have my charges dropped completely even though this was my second offense for the same crime. I am sure that 99% of the other lawyers would have only been able to get a reduced sentence. I believe his strength from a laymans perspective is his ability to to not tell the whole truth while at the same time not specifically lie in court. The only reason I do not have a criminal record is because of this man, highly recommend him to anyone.

Helped me get through everything I needed with the most professional and reasonable work ethic. Made me feel good going into a court date that many people worry over, would highly recommend Mr. Velez.

I met John Paul Velez when i was 21 and had a alot of charges aginst me it was a mess, and he was my public defender, i had a bunch of charges against me. John actually cared about my case , he talked with me was honest about what could happen and he has a swag about him that he is going to give you the best shot. He worked the prosecution from 5 months to 2 months in county and the day of my sentencing got me put on slap so i did no time, i then got ahold of him 8 yrs later and he was now in an attorneys office yet again he helped me with a diffent situation and he cared about the outcome , he rememberd me and he again did a great job, i dont know about the other attorneys there but if you are looking for a attorney ask for John Velez i promise you, you wont regret it, if i ever have problems again im going straight to him!!!!
