Joseph Donatiello was very personable and helpful towards my DWI case. He explained all the details, consequences, strategies, and possible scenarios during our first court meet. He's very experienced in this field and also knows many judges and prosecutors in many NJ counties, I felt a lot better after speaking with him. unfortunately he couldn't take my case due to conflict of interest. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a lawyer for any type of traffic offense cases.

While moving up to New Jersey over the summer, I received a speeding ticket on the parkway. I have used public defenders as well as another attorney in the past for legal representation but after hiring Joseph Donatiello he will always be my first choice, not only with court matters but anything involving the services of an attorney. Mr. Donatiello was very respectful and payed careful attention to my case and all of the details. He was genuinely concerned with my case and wanted to get the best possible outcome for me. Everything that was happening and all the options were explained to me. All of my questions were answered and I never felt like I was “out of the loop”. I will recommend him to anyone in need of the services of an attorney. He worked with me on the payment as I couldn’t pay everything at once, he accepted partial payment and a few days latter I paid him the balance. In the middle the case I received 3 traffic tickets unrelated to the first case due the court/DMV making an error involving the payment of a parking ticket. Thinking I could handle this on my own I went to court to explain what happened as it was a mistake I could not have prevented along with the evidence that I was not at fault. The court essentially said It was not their problem, they refused to listen. Thanks to Mr. Donatiello it was cleared up quickly and I had all 3 tickets dismissed or reduced fines, I basically paid court costs. Since he was already representing me he charged me a very fair price to handle the second case. All in all both of the outcomes of my cases exceeded my expectations.
