As a non-profit organization, we approached him for our property tax exempt application to IRS and the city. He accepted to work on our case, but he never did any task despite providing all necessary documents on time. We also couldn't reach him most of the times. Due to him, we lost at least $50k to property taxes. He also still unlawfully has our non-profit organization documents, which we still couldn't retrieve from him since 2021. Our mistake was to give him 4 years of chances (2017-2021) and he did literally nothing. After him, we worked with an accountant who assisted us to get IRS tax exemption status within one year. We do not recommend Faris Shurbaji to anyone.

Faris is an extremely responsive, brass tacks lawyer. He took care of me from the beginning walking me through the home purchase and doing more work than usual talking me through points I didn’t understand, and coaching me through the closing. On the final days, the title closers we’re not available due to illness and Faris took over to make sure that the closing still happened while the rate was set: He did two jobs to make sure we would be able to get into our home! He is personable and professional, would recommend him many times over!
