In late February, I contacted the firm with details of a possible claim for defamation against a very well known public figure. Corrinne Mullen called and after asking a few questions, said she would send an invitation to a Zoom meeting the following week to evaluate the potential plaintiff. She gave a specific time frame; 10 a.m. to 12:30. And that was the last we heard from her. Evidently she is not interested in the case. Which is just as well. If she doesn’t have the courtesy to tell us she doesn’t want the matter, it tells is a lot about how the claim would be handled if she took it.
