When I first retained Mr Garner in July of 2021 he was very responsive and helpful but as my complicated divorce case dragged on longer than he expected, I was told by Mr Garner that the divorce would be finalized by fall of 2021, he would not respond to phone calls and emails, sometimes for days and sometimes never. There was a lack of communication as far as important dates in my case and pertinent information was not shared with the opposing attorney. When I spoke to the person who referred me to Mr Garner and told them about these issues they told me that they also had issues with communicating with him. This was frustrating and led to a motion being filed against me. Recently the quickest responses I received from Mr. Garner was when I decided to seek counsel elsewhere and when there was a negative review posted online. He may he good at a simple divorce case or traffic violations but if you’re looking for someone to get you through a complicated divorce Steven is not the man for the job
