This is the most unprofessional firm I’ve dealt with. Contacted 2 weeks ago and gave in depth information to which I was told an attorney would contact me within 1 week. No contact made by this firm. I’ve contacted them 2 more separate times to be asked “what’s the purpose for my call”. Obviously the information I gave over the phone the first time was not recorded. What a complete waste of time and effort on my part. Thanks

I recently moved to New Mexico post divorce and needed to update all my end of life documents (Will, Advanced Directives, etc.) I was advised to establish a Trust which provides a better way to manage assets. I was listened to and the firm asked detailed questions which I appreciate.

Charged more than double the quoted price for my divorce. The only major change was one court date,this should not have spun into over double what was quoted! Erica did not know the laws regarding restraining orders as well as her paralegal & just faked it with me face to face. Finding this to be at the very end of things was very disheartening. This individual took what was a horrible situation and made it worse while completely ripping me off. Beware folks! Just all about your $$$$

Our attorney, Mitchel Olson, did a great job of helping us understand our estate planning options and helping us put together a Trust Agreement that included a Durable Power of Attorney, a Warranty Deed, and a Pour-over Will. We met with him several times and corresponded with him by email, and he answered all our questions. He was very professional, patient, and considerate. He took the time to explain each document and to interpret the legal language so that we could understand. He earns our highest recommendation.

Horrible Experience with this Unprofessional Law firm.. Very Poor Communication, Would Never Again Throw My Money away With Them…

After retiring in New Mexico, I lived several years out of state and then returned to New Mexico. I was happy with my existing legal documents and have very simple circumstances – no family, no mortgage, no debt -- only retirement income, and prepaid funeral. I just wanted to update location information and a review to ensure the documents conformed with any statutory changes. I looked at local firms, shared my existing documents and few important considerations – requesting only any simple changes that were required. The first drafts were complicated by a trust and conservator, and my few requests were missing. My questions were essentially overlooked and it seemed my documents were shoved into boilerplates without regard to my intent. Each time I asked for clarification and inclusion of what was to be “no problem”, I was charged. I signed just to be done and have paperwork compliant with current statutes. A few years later, a friend spoke so highly of the ease and clarity of their estate planning experience with Mitchel J. Olson of the Erika E. Anderson firm that I requested a brief “no charge” consultation to explore some options that were outlined in my friend’s Anderson brochure (with prices). Within a few weeks, the new documents were signed, notarized and recorded if appropriate. My questions were heard and answered. My requests were incorporated in simple, understandable language, and Mr. Olson's kind patience matched his competent professionalism. I am delighted to recommend this firm to anyone who is looking for common sense, reasonably priced and comprehensive estate planning options.
