I had a great attorney in the past that helped me get my benefits! Unfortunately he is no longer with us. So I had to find an attorney when Social security called my case to be reviewed to see if I can still receive my benefits. I hired Michelle Baca thinking this lawyer would do her best to help me! I’m a single mother of 4 kids! I have a lot of medical problems and can’t work!!! I did all the work of getting all my medical records and paid for them out of my own pocket. My lawyer Michelle Baca just had to do a good job representing me at my court hearing but she didn’t speak for me or defend me at all. She only said one thing to the judge at my hearing and the one thing she said made me look bad. She wasn’t on my side at all. Everything she did or said made me look bad and hurt my case tremendously! She did nothing good for me. She gave me the worst advice. She just advised me to answer the questions the judge had. She told me answer the questions and keep your answer short truthful and to the point. Don’t go on explaining any details! I should have explained my situation more instead of taking my attorneys advice. When the judge asked me is there anything that you would like to say or anything else you want to let me know about your case. I was gonna start telling her about my situation and thats when my attorney touched me on my shoulder and shook her head no. So then I said I guess I don’t have anything else to say. My case would of gone so much better if I didn’t take her advice or hire her. I trusted her with my case and assumed she knew best since she was the attorney. I WAS ALREADY RECEIVING MY BENEFITS AND GOT THEM TAKEN AWAY FROM ME! Thanks to this awful attorney! I lost the benefits that were helping me and my kids. Now I have to fight to get my benefits back .I’ve been struggling dealing with all my medical conditions and struggling to financially take care of my kids. I was struggling even when I was getting my benefits but now that I don’t have my benefits I am struggling even more. They really don’t seem to care to help a single mother that truly needs the help for her children!

IF YOU ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP NEVER, NEVER use This diplorable office. I had an UNPROFESSIONAL negative expierience since they completely destroyed my case and waisted two years of my life. At the time I was living on the streets and was desperate for help to get me out of that situation. Did they help? NO! They completely disreguarded me as a person suffering from mental illness, which is why I originally hired Michelle Baca's Law Office. I needed assistance getting disability and was actually reffered to them. From the very start of my interactions with this place I was treated with indifference and complete LACK OF RESPECT. This was a horrible experience and a complete waste of nearly two years. All this time I was eagerly waiting for approval which is what I was looking forward to and was expecting. Imagine living off of ZERO income other than food stamps for years upon years because my disability does not allow me wo work. Michelle Baca's Law Office COMPLETELY DROPPED THE BALL after I did all & everything that was required of me, even calling the office if I thought it had been too long since we had last spoken with each other. At times months would go by with no word from them. Michelle Baca herself failed to stand by me and do her job. A few weeks before being "dropped" I had checked on my case and spoken to one of the assistants. I gave her all of my information and informing this assistant that I was in no way comfortable with the Law Office's silence in reguards to my case. A few weeks go by. I then recieve my one and only phone call from Michelle Baca. She tells me in a professionally Ice Cold manner that I was no longer a client. Imagine the one and only time I ever spoke with Michelle Baca was when she blamed me and my Mental Issues as the reason I was being "dropped" as a client. She said I "failed to check in" which is either a direct lie or missinformation due to ignorance on her behalf. I know I checked in. The only explanation is that the assistant failed to do her part by documenting that I was doing what was required of me at that time. I was and still am desperate for Disability Assistance. This undeniable state of desperate need for disability assistance had compelled me to be extremely diligent in doing all that was required of me. Entrusting The Law Office of Michelle Baca with what they claim they are highly successful at accoplishing, namely getting disabled individuals approved. This was so disappointing and has set me back well over a year. All because of a break-down in their communication process.
