I paid for the consultation $225 for one hr and the lawyer just kept looking at her phone every time It rang. I mean I paid her and found it very disrespectful because her attention should have been completely on me not her phone. Every time it would ring I had to pause because she would answer and sometimes I would forget what I was talking about or what i was going to ask her. The retainer fee of $6000 is way out of my pocket. I was told between $1500 and $3000 depending on my case which i don’t think it’s that complex. I wish they had a payment plan. I was really excited and looking forward to possibly hire one of them to represent me.

I want to express my appreciation and gratitude for the NM Legal Group for holding my hand during my stressful divorce. I will never be able to thank lawyer Twila Larkin and paralegal Desiree Pena enough for their compassion and hard work they have put into my case. I want to make sure they understand how much they are appreciated and I can never thank them enough for always being there for all my questions and breakdowns. So if you need the best representative, lawyer, I highly recommend the NM Legal Group and staff, but mostly Twila and Desiree, to handle any and all divorce settlements. Also, this office has the kindest receptionists and the best mints, please keep them around in case I’m in the neighborhood so I can drop by and grap a handful. Very misleading Firm they say they can help you. They take your money but not your case give no advice at all. Do not listen just keep looking at the clock. If they can't help you or give U any advise they should give you your money back! There consultation's are a big waste of time and money!.

I worked with them regardless of if they do not remember me as a client (proves part of my point). You pay for nothing at this legal group (horrendously expensive for absolutely nothing) and they do not finish work. My other attorney had to argue with them to fulfill paperwork,(absolutely would recommend my new attorney and I left her a review so you can check her out). Please shop around and choose another group, or person. The best thing I did was get a new attorney.

My divorce took one year and three months to complete. We had no assets no, money, and nothing to fight about except the parenting plan. Usually, divorces like mine are handled very quickly and for very little money. However, when you are working with another party that is in the military, and regardless of military service is a very difficult individual to boot, with a lawyer that could match him for whit, things take a long time. My lawyer was Robert Matteucci Jr. of New Mexico Legal Group, and he handled this drawn out divorce and the difficult other party with a lot of finesse and skill. This was a frustrating situation, and he maintained constant composure through every bit of it. He knows his material, and is on the ball when it comes to responding to emails and phone calls. When the other party or his lawyer were degrading to my character, as an individual, he was quick to my defense, and I felt that my lawyer really had my best interest and the interest of my kids at heart. His paralegal Krista Barnett should be a lawyer herself, and I appreciated how quickly she got things taken care of. I would highly recommend this law firm for divorce and family matters, and I would highly recommend this lawyer to anyone going through this type of situation.
