Richard is the best attorney. He helped me through the toughest time. He talks to you like a friend instead of a lawyer. He makes you feel very relaxed, stress free, and most important worry free. I could have never asked for a better attorney. He got me everything I had asked for in my family court case. i set up a free consultation with Dick this week through his secretary. She was very friendly and set me up with an appointment the same week. When i arri ved for my appointment Dick greeted me and offered me a soda or water. During out meeting he took his time to answer each and every question I had. I was very fortunate to find the Gunger Law Firm on such short notice. I was arriving in NY and needed to find a lawyer with less than 2 days before my custody hearing. Richard genuinely wants what’s best for his clients, something that is hard to find these days. I truly believe that lawyers who choose a career in family law are a rare breed. This is not a black and white playing field. These lawyers are dealing with all types of emotions, rejection, resentment, injustice and most importantly, children. Then after all this is taken into consideration, they must draft legal agreements that will balance it all out and shape the future of the parties involved. As a client, you must be extremely demanding when choosing your lawyer. Choose one who will defend your interests, explain the rules in a manner that you can understand and keep you away from avoidable fights that just end up prolonging the inevitable. You can't go wrong with Richard.

Richard did an amazing job on my case. I would recommend him without hesitation to my family and friends. His Secretary is a very nice person and also along with Richard answered all of my questions and concerns in a prompt manner. When I first met him I knew immediately that he was going to help me. I hired Mr. Gunger to execute my divorce. He was such a great help and really made me feel at ease with the whole divorce. He has the most positive attitude I have ever came across. Paid Gunger $3500 for a small criminal case (misdemeanors). 4 months of not showing in court he stopped returning calls. The judge was angry at me. He made me look like an idiot. All he did for the $3500 was send a fax the day of court as notice he wouldn't be there. I had to hire ANOTHER lawyer. The next lawyer to help me with this case had nothing good to say about gunger either. Don't use him.

Awesome Lawyer and I'd highly recommend him to my family and friends. He calmed my mind and is very knowledgable about the law. After meeting Dick after talking to him on the phone he was very pleasent and down to earth. His staff members offered me a soda or coffee wich made me feel comfortable right away.
