This review is long over due! Julie helped my wife and I when we were down and I will never forget that. Julie is the only immigration attorney I know that has the courage to actually fight the hateful travel ban in its every form, day after day and night after night. She will never give up! There is nothing that will discourage her from continuing to fight. She has filed MANY suits against the travel ban's discriminatory nature. Julie is strategic, caring, humble, passionate and persistent. She is one of few attorney's I've met that takes cases when other attorneys will say there is no hope and that you'll just have to wait it out. I called at least 20 immigration attorneys (literally) before Julie and almost all had 5 star ratings, awards, and some were even listed as the best attorneys in America but not one of them could help or had the same knowledge as Julie did when it came to the travel ban. Julie is the first Immigration attorney that I have met that has an office overseas near the US embassy to witness first hand the issues her clients are facing. My wife and I met Julie in Djibouti and she treated us with the out most respect. I witnessed that same day clients walking in and asking her to please take their cases and some had no money and she still took their cases. She talks to her clients like people and not a number. Many attorneys won't even give you the time of the day and you will only speak to their receptionist. She's more than just an attorney. She’s an advocate and a fighter for freedom and justice. A little less than three months ago, my uncle was in a tragic car accident. Straight into ICU, doctors told us family members that he wouldn’t make it because of the condition he was in. Broken neck, broken spine, broken arm, broken pelvis, and even fractured face bones, we lost hope that he would ever open his eyes. Thankfully after endless nights of prayers and almost a month and three weeks of no progress, my uncle opened his eyes. All I kept thinking was “I wonder what he is going through his head.” Our family was devastated, especially because the fact that his wife and three younger children where thousands of miles away from him because of the travel ban and war in Yemen. The last time they were together as a family was about 7 years ago. Once I heard about the immigration lawyer Julie Goldberg, I automatically gave her a call and she asked me to go into her LA office ASAP, which I did. She helped renew his children’s passports and expedited his wife’s case to get a visa to the United States to be with her husband and children. Today with the help of Julie, my uncle reunites with his family. Words cannot explain the look on my uncle’s face when he seen his family in front of his eyes. This is like a dream come true. Julie is courageous, compassionate, creative, strategic and just a down to earth awesome person. She helped me with my wife's case but I've also been paying close attention to what she's doing across the board especially against the travel ban. While most attorney's gave up after the supreme court decision, Julie just keeps fighting and fighting and fighting. Okay, so I was recommended to call this office for an immigration case. I talked to Miss. Lee, who went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. She was patient, polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. She took the time to call me back and get the petition number to which she advised me on what to do next and how to get the best out of USCIS website. Although, at this time, their office couldn't help with my case since it's still at stage one of the processing center, she was very honest and precise. She didn't try to take advantage of me or our case and basically gave me a date to check with USCIS and then get an attorney help. Thank you Lee. If it wasn’t for Julie, I would have probably been deported by now and definitely lost my green card. I obtained my conditional green card through my previous marriage and during the I-751 case, we filed for divorce and my ex-wife withdrew the application. I was then put in removal proceedings. It was terrifying, but Julie presented my options and the pros and cons of each option and was there for me in every step of the way. Julie assured me that she will fight for me and will make sure she wins the case. I was very fortunate to have found her. Julie and her staff were always there to answer any question I may have and always followed up with my case. We filed for the secon I-751 with the divorce waiver and Julie came with me to the interview, she made sure I have all the rights that I am entitled to available to me. She made me feel comfortable during the interview. 2 weeks later, I received a notice that my application was approved. this is a success story because I chose a successful attorney. Thank you Julie for everything you have done! The staff are all professionals, the attorney is probably the best in the country, and the fees are not even close to what other attorneys ask for. I believe every penny was worth it.
