I am writing to express my admiration of and gratitude for Sandler Francois and the assistance he provided my 81-year-old cousin. Irwin had been victimized and was left with no option but to pursue bankruptcy. He was mortified and felt great shame. In addition to flawlessly preparing the required documents, Sandler was incredibly kind to and supportive of Irwin. He took the time to understand my cousin’s feelings and concerns and was personally incensed that an elderly Marine of his age, who had worked hard all his life, had to face such problems. Sandler devoted much time and attention to my cousin and helped to convince him that he should not despair, or lose self-respect. Sandler accompanied Irwin to all his court appearances, and twice during the winter he personally brought required documents to my cousin’s home for signature when he felt that walking to the subway in such cold and icy weather would put Irwin at risk.
