After hours of searching for an estate planning attorney for my parents, Inna clearly stood out - her reviews (of which there were hundreds of 5 star reviews) were amazing, and I knew that my parents would be in good hands with her. Immediately upon arriving to the office, Inna’s assistant brought us into a private room, where she explained the trust and healthcare proxy documents to my parents and I. She was incredibly accommodating and answered every question we had with perfect clarity, in both Russian and English. Not long after, Inna joined us in the room, and we instantly knew that we had made the right choice in choosing an estate planning attorney. Not only was she bright and sharp-witted, but also made the estate planning process entertaining (which we didn’t think could even be possible!) with her bubbly personality and her charming sense of humor. She not only answered the remaining questions we had, but directed us to her personal banker for our trust. By the end of the conversation, it almost felt like we had known each other for years - it was such a warm and welcoming environment that my parents didn’t want to leave. I know that they are in great hands with her and couldn’t have thought of a better attorney that I would’ve trusted with my parents’ futures. Inna is absolutely amazing! Without the help and expertise of Inna, I know that my family would not have such an efficient and headache-free will planning experience. I can't recommend Law office of Inna Fershteyn high enough for estate planning and Medicaid planning for elderly. We had an emergency situation where irrevocable trust had to be set up and Medicaid had to be obtained right away and Inna and her team prepared all documents for my relatives in less than one week. One of my retired indecisive relatives asked me find an experience Russian speaking attorney who specializes in estate planning and wills. While there are many attorneys in these areas of law, I needed to find the one who would be able to explain to my relative and I similar information multiple times. So, as usual I checked reviews on google, made bunch of calls and then visited around six Russian-speaking attorneys in Shepheard Bay and Brighton Beach area. Since my relative had a complicated estate planning and Will that involved sizable part of her estate to be donated to two major universities, we decided to hire Inna Fershteyn or as my relative called her "Innochka" :-) once we got acquainted… Inna is an excellent attorney with great sense of humor. She is very patient and I guess she understands that not all people can comprehend information after hearing it just once. Inna took extra time to listen what my relative wanted and then explained to her various approaches in estate planning, especially one related to the donation to universities. Inna’s office space is very clean, and her staff were eager to help us with questions we had prior and after meeting Inna. Finally, my relative, who taught music at graduate level classes back in USSR, and Inna ended up speaking about music for almost 2 hours. It was interesting to find out that Inna is a pianist and she enjoys classical music.
