Hired Meryl to assist with my closing. Was never informed that someone else would be representing me instead of her. After paid her, all over sudden she completely handed over my case to one of her employees. At the end, they lost case for me and not only did I have to pay her, had to pay for the loses too. It gets better! Few years later, received notification that owe Meryl more money even though paid rider in full and as per her own rider, no work would be done if there is balance. She made up fees that owe her and why would she do any work if owed her $. Instead of sending bills (since obviously there was no real services provided that she could bill for), they filed a lawsuit against me for the made up balance! What a shame that trusted her to represent me and extremely disappointed that not only did she lose the case but is also so unprofessional that instead of worrying about how to win cases, since obviously she can’t do that, she sued her clients for made up fees. Guess can’t get new clients so that’s her new way of making $

Call this firm 3 times, no one ever got back to me. I believe they probably don't need any business. Don't waist your time just find another lawyer. It is whole bunch of them around.

I am a first time homebuyer who closed about 3 weeks ago.
Judy is good. She was straightforward and detailed all the costs that may be involved in the process. She was very responsive with any questions and concerns I raised throughout the process.
When we reviewed the purchase contract together, she highlighted everything of concern, including things I didn’t pick up. Throughout the process, she gave very good instructions on what to do and what to expect next. At the closing, she was very good at explaining the payment details. At the end of the process, I did not have any more questions for her. She had answered all my questions.
I would recommend her to other people and would reach out to her again for any other legal services she provides.

Can't thank her enough for all her help in our home purchase. Judy is the kind of person who takes pride in her work and is someone you want in your corner. She is always working hard and even after hours to make sure your case is receiving the proper attention. Her experience makes her a valuable asset- she is efficient yet thorough and anyone can tell that she is on top of her game. She is responsive and was a joy to work with- making the whole process organized despite all the moving parts involved with a closing. Judy really looks out for the interests of her client and made sure everything went smoothly, timely and that we were protected. It took us a long time to find our home (almost 4yrs) and Judy was with us every time we thought we were in love with a place. She helped flag potential concerns and always gave us sound advice yet allowing us to make the ultimate decision. I appreciated her can do attitude and candor as a person- she is professional yet also someone you can trust to tell things to you straight which was very refreshing. I would not hesitate to recommend her or use her again- Judy is truly the kind of professional you can trust for these important matters in life where you need someone meticulous and who will go to bat for you! She takes pride in her work and I highly respect that in a person as a mark of good character. We were lucky to have found her!

I recently used Judy to purchase my house on Long Island with my wife. Judy is very attentive to detail and was extremely helpful in understanding the clauses in the contract. She handled all interactions with the seller's attorney timely and within the same day. At closing, she broke down each cost that we were paying with our closing cost and we knew exactly how much money was to be paid before we showed up to sign the papers. She was very up-front about certain circumstances and what could or could not be negotiated with the seller. Judy was very thoughtful and accommodating with her schedule and gave multiple times when she could meet. She made my first home purchase very easy and got us into the house 21 days before the original close date which was amazing. I would highly recommend Judy for any real estate purchase.

Judy has helped me in: trust and estates, financing my primary residence, and also in my investment partnership. In addition, she has helped one of the non-profits with whom I volunteer. In all these areas, she has been a great source of information and wisdom, and she has saved me a lot of time, money and pain. Finally, she has a great rolodex of contacts that can help in all the legal areas in which I have worked with her over the years.
I have worked with many attorneys over the years, and appreciate Judy's intense focus on the matter at hand, as well as her long term strategic views. I could not recommend her more highly. Judy is client focused, and I have always felt that I have gotten more for her than I have given.

I need to write this while its fresh in my mind. Do not use this lawyer. She is terrible and negligent. She has overloaded herself and missed things on more than one occasion. She has screwed me in my house purchase and in the end I have to eat the costs not here so I warn you DO NOT USE HER.
I had told her that I had wanted to move in as soon as possible yet she failed to informed us that there was a cause that included a 30 days period after the closing allowing the sellers to stay. She also failed to negotiate any monetary reim5bursement for us. So basically the sellers can stay 30 days on my dime. What kind of lawyer does this? I pay her to ensure I get what I want not to help the sellers.
Also when we signed the contract she wrote the wrong amount on my down payment check and we had to personally send another check to the sellers attorney. Talk about being unorganized.
Another time, she wasted her own time and mine trying to negotiating a clause that was already finalized. If she spent more time on the other part maybe I would not be in this predicament. She also make a mistake doing simple math through one of our email correspondence.
I believe her reviews are fake so please take my warnings to heart. You do not want her. I am so frustrated over this. I have switched a lawyer right before my closing cause she has messed up too much .
If you have her drop her. If you dont please look somewhere else.
Also if you have any questions I will gladly answer them so you wont make the same terrible mistake I did.
Ps I like how after I put a bad review suddenly 5 more 5 stat reviews pop up all in the same day...
