I got help with my rent issues when I overpaid a landlord but if you need domestic violence help or family court help they are not really useful

The staff is overbooked and overworked. You and your case don't get the attention you should as if you were a regular paying client. Phone calls and emails are never returned and your case is gotten to if someone has the time. Justice does not exist for the financially disadvantaged.

Mr. Shapiro was abrupt, condescending, intimidating, and downright rude when my mother and I had a legal consultation. It is disturbing and disheartening to be treated so shabbily by one who is supposed to offer empathy and help. I am shocked this man is allowed to conduct himself the way he does, particularly in an agency for elders.
Mr. Shapiro may be well-versed in law, but a refresher course in human kindness should be in order. As a result, we did not hire him.
