Maidenbaum's Team (esp John F.) gets it done, the best

I sincerely appreciate Maidenbaum & Sternberg's Professional competence and quality service, they helped to reduce my property's assessment EVERY YEAR since I hired them, and most important they proactively and persistently help their clients to get the refunds of village tax difference! They are the best and deserve 5 star!

Maidenbaum is the best in the business! I used to grieve my taxes myself, until I didn't.... (because I got to a point where I would get no reduction). I have hired Maidenbaum for the last 3 years and every single year they have far exceeded my expectations, not only in answering all of my questions but getting significant reduction on my property. It wouldnt be in your best interest if you didnt use them!

My family has been using Maidenbaum & Sternberg for many years, so when I bought my first home they were one of our first calls. They are professional, proactive in their outreach and my experience with them has been overwhelmingly positive.

Would give no stars if I could, but can’t post that way. Called Maidenbaum to discuss an outstanding bill. Spoke with legal department and offered a settlement I felt was fair to both sides. I said I would personally bring them a check for the negotiated amount the very next day. She presented many scare tactics designed to panic me, which it did. She offered no real solutions. She took my number, said she would present my offer and get back to me. Four days later, I have still heard nothing. I am trying to negotiate in good faith , but this cannot happen if they don’t respond. I see other reviews where so many people, just like me, struggle with Maidenbaum. The steps Maidenbaum uses are totally unclear to the layperson, and that is used against you. It is virtually impossible to handle things in a timely fashion if they don’t respond in a clear and open way. I wrote them years ago, but never got a response indicating they had even received my letter. All they do is drag their feet. My recommendation is to not deal with them at all. File on your own and save yourself a world of stress and heartache.
