I contacted Liz Schmid of Dayton Voorhees as a result of a recommendation from my Real Estate agent who secured a buyer for my home in East Hampton. I met with her and was impressed by her industry experience and knowledge of the pitfalls a seller may encounter in the sale closing process. During the closing process, which took approximately 30 days, I always was comfortable that ,all that could be done to close the sale, was being done. I was very happy with the number of calls I received keeping me abreast of the various inspections that were performed, the survey process, the buyers request for accommodations and the final COO inspection. I never felt there were any problems that were insurmountable, although there could have been, if the Lawyers did not deal with them professionally. All in all, a good experience with a truly professional Lawyer at a very competent firm. I highly recommend Liz Schmid and Dayton Voorhees to close on the sale of your home.

Alex and Jordan were responsive, professional and thorough. Although we were not first time home buyers, we were not buying a home. We bought a vacant piece of land which presents its own set of issues on the East End and we found the firm extremely helpful in navigating that process.

We sold our home in East Hampton this past spring and DV&B were very helpful in getting the deal done. We had to work through a lot of the city issues (permitting/approvals/exceptions), etc., and they really knew everything that was needed, and helped us get through the red tape to get the deal done.
