I was referred to James by the realtor I was working with. He helped me navigate the closing while buying my co-op, which ended up being a lot more time consuming and complicated than we anticipated. James was always available and answered all of my questions quickly. He is extremely kind, hardworking, knowledgable and efficient. He is also 100% on his clients side, even if referred by a 3rd party (something I was initially cautious about). When I was thrown a huge curveball during the process, James went above and beyond to make sure that this sale would happen while other sides were ready to drop everything and move on. I would not have gotten my apartment had I chosen a different attorney. I can't emphasize that point enough, as he is the only one who would have gone to bat for a client like that. I'd recommend him 100% to everyone needing an RE Attorney and will definitely use him for any real estate transactions I have in the future.

Excellent Service! After screening a couple of attorneys to sell my mother's house in Queens, I was referred to James by my Realtor. When I spoke to James, he immediately looked up my property, calculated all potential closing costs, addressed my concerns, and outlined the speed to close. I was impressed by the detailed knowledge of the process, versus other attorneys, and felt assured he was the right choice. He answered all questions and managed requested docs efficiently through text and email. From Contract to Closing, even for a cash purchase, it was only three weeks! Overall, James demonstrated excellent Service Delivery and Professionalism throughout the process, and he's extremely economical with his fee. I am a very satisfied client.

Our real estate agent hired James for the closing of our family house and related family disbursements. I have had the opportunity to work closely with him for the span of three months. I knew going in that this sale would be problematic due to title liens, HPD violations and my insane family members - all complicating the matter further. James worked late into the day to negotiate terms and conditions that were favorable to all parties involved. This was VERY interesting. James was referred to my wife and I when we were selling our home of 20 years. We disliked the realtor who referred us and had low expectations. But I have to say James turned out to be a gem. He surpassed ALL our expectations. I highly recommend him. A gentleman and exceedingly helpful.

James was tremendous in helping me to successfully close on a piece of real estate. He's knowledgeable in his field; personable & friendly; and apparently has strong negotiation skills, as he got the Seller's lawyers to lower some costs. Furthermore, his fees are fair and he will go the Extra distance at the end/closing to ensure that there are no loose ends that could adversely affect his client. I would recommend James and will probably use his services again.

We closed yesterday, James helped us with writing letters for some tenant issues. We wouldn’t have closed without these letters. James is one of the few honest lawyers in NYC. I highly recommend James!!!
