I really love working with Stan Lee he assured me that me and my information was safe with him it was my 1st time getting a apartment and Stan got the job done the communication with him was amazing and he was very patient with me and things. I love my apartment. I’m in now but now he’s helping me look for my second apartment and I’m so grateful to have Him and his team and my corner I would highly recommend it’s the best experience I ever had

I can’t be Thankful enough for Attorney Stan from the Housing Department! He was an answered prayer and recommended by a Facebook Section 8 community page! He is known to fully help many, including myself and my children w housing, legal advice and guidance. He doesn’t only help you in a professional, ethical manner but also as a human being to another human being w patience and true act of service to the NYC community. He is an excellent example of a Housing Advocate, can’t thank him Enough and I’m sure his team is just as excellent. Highly recommended! With all the real estate and housing issues that could be more than challenging in New York these advocates are really there to get you through w true help!

I was fortunate to work with Stan in the housing department. Stan assisted with my housing needs & followed through to the very end as he promised. Every question was answered, responsive to calls, emails, and text. Stan took the weight off of my shoulders when I was navigating & looking for housing. Top of the line units in luxury buildings. The world needs more people like Stan!! Even after I secured a unit, knowing I can call on Stan to advocate on my behalf is a Godsend.

Stan from Queen defenders from the housing department helped me to apply to various apartment complexs that accept my section 8 voucher. If you have section 8 and needing help with finding the right apartment for you I highly recommend you reaching out to Stan in helping you move forward in getting into a good home. He helped to explain how section 8 works and how the process works. He also helped me with getting the one shot deal to cover my moving expenses and assistance with my section 8 portal along with uploading forms and the assistance of signing forms. If I didn’t have his help I wouldnt know how to find apartments on my own that accepts the type of section 8 voulcher that I have. Stan even helped me to get into a nice apartment complex in Long Island city New York that has a smoking enforcing policy. He even helped set up appointments to take tours of different places and he helped to find the right moving company that would be a reasonable price to move into my new apartment. Stan is such a great caring person who deeply cares about individuals with disabilities and especially woman who been a victim of domestic violence. Stan goes out of his way to make sure you have a safe place to live. He’s very resourceful with finding things within your community to help you such as food pantries.

I dealt with a man named Stan who helped me with my housing voucher. From point a to point b he was precise with what he needed to get me the desired outcome which was a place. If you have a housing voucher and you're serious about changing your living situation, Stan is the man to have help hou. I would recommend him to anyone.

I would like to share my housing experience with Stan he was very helpful with me in assisting help in getting my documents to hra through my ehv section 8 I was searching for help and didn't know much about my voucher and Stan was very helpful in explaining everything to me and answering all the questions I needed I am thankful for his amazing work and getting things done for me without his help my process probably would of taken longer. I would definitely refer him to anyone who is looking for help.

I am a senior and I needed help with my Section 8 voucher and to find an apartment. The workers in my shelter never helped me in anyway and never gave me the time of day to explain anything. I have been living in this shelter for 4 years and almost lost hope. Being homeless and in a shelter is bad enough, but when the people who are put there to help you dont care, it makes matters even worse. The housing team at Queens Defenders helped me tremendously. They explained how my voucher works and what i am entitled to. Stan and Shunti were always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. They helped me find a lovely apartment in rego park and got me out of the shelter for good. God bless Queens Defenders.
