My Housing Navigator, Stan, was wonderful. The HPD process is very complicated and involved, and i had many questions. Without question or hesitation, Stan answered all of my questions, guided me through the entire process of HPD, Section 8, and my Housing Voucher, and saw me safely into my new apartment. Stan was, without question professional at every turn, and i would recommend him and his skills to anyone needing housing info and help. He is a valuable, knowledgeable employee who can step into any situation with ease and perform expertly. Stan was very kind and social and had ease with all of the situations i encountered on my journey into my new apartment.

I have been working with Stan in the housing department for months and, boy oh boy, Stan is the greatest person he helped me move into my one bedroom and anytime I need to speak to him or bother him he always there. I want to publicly apologize for my last review on Queen Defender institution . Yesterday I was really frustrated and afraid about what or how I will provide to my family in the next 6 months. We live in a shelter and are situation was hard before all of this situation you can imagine what difficult would be with me not working on my profession the next 6 months. I want to appreciate Ms. Leno for Answer my texts yesterday and today I called to her office an immediately put on the phone with Mr. Peter a lawyer that was really profesional and patient talkin to me. I hired mister Rosenfeld for a landlord/tenant case and couldn't be more satisfied with the result. His professionalism and vast knowledge of the part of the law is unique. During the time of this case, I was always updated and advised of the time frame and court days, he even called me as he was leaving the court to advise me of the result. Case has been going on for a long time, and Erap might have “prevented” some of the work on the case (if the tenants even were approved in the first place). However, that does not justify the lack of communication and responsiveness over multiple emails in previous months asking for an update on the case. It could have been as simple as replying with some information on what roadblocks are seen for us to not feel so neglected, or even simply, respond (for lack of a better explanation, for us to know that we are actually speaking with a person/lawyer). The fact that his responsiveness immediately increased after receiving a bad review and that defensive arguments were needed to ‘explain’ himself is truly astounding. I am sure when good work and good business is carried out, the amount of good reviews will always outweigh the bad. This review will stay here if this is the only way to prompt his response. This review can be taken down if enough communication and work have been put through to make advances in the case. Only time will tell, if this post still exists after a few months or year+ then only proves the above right.
