As legal representation was needed, we were referred to the Law Offices of Mark E Alter by another attorney. The firm is caring, highly professional and incredibly responsive. Their advice and representation was everything the referring attorney said it would be. Would recommend this office anytime.

I have spent the first 53 years of my life trying not to get involved in the kind of situations that would require a legal defense. Unfortunately that streak came to and end recently and I found myself in need of an attorney. A friend suggested I talk to Mark and see if he could help. Having no experience in this area I was not expecting much other than a bill and for him to handle whatever legal filings I needed. What I got was something entirely different and has forever changed how I feel about the legal profession. Mark heard the details of my case and was, like myself, a bit disgusted that I was even having to answer this. His first concern was for me and my situation. His last concern was getting me to start writing checks. Needless to say I was more than a little surprised. Beyond that Mark proved to be an incredibly intelligent and thoughtful human being who seems to understand the anxiety that can come from having to defend yourself in court. He not only put me at ease regarding my situation, but he attacked my case with a fierceness that I was not expecting. He was intent in seeing that I would not be taken advantage of and was not going to accept anything less than making sure the truth was uncovered. Not only did he get me Custodial Custody, but during a pandemic! Very impressive to say the least. Amazing attorney. I had a big case against me and mark was able to get it dropped down to nothing. There was even an instance where in his contract he was supposed to charge me more but decided not to. He stuck by his word the entire time and got my case closed.
