Bob Cohen made my divorce feel nearly effortless for me & if your here looking for a divorce attorney that may seem incomprehensible but it's a fact. He made it possible for me to focus on what was important and trust all the rest was being taken care of by him. First off, his assistant Denise is great but Bob was directly accessible to me which was important. He's also honest and was helpful in my decisions on what to fight for and what to let go of and those things I wanted to hold onto, Bob Cohen made sure I got them in the end. He knows how and when to play hard or nice with the other side & he's a master at disguising one for the other which just speaks to his seasoned talent in doing this. I knew of Bob's work prior to my divorce as he "victoriously" handled two other divorces for two separate friends of mine, and honestly he killed it for both of them. Once I found out my spouse was lawyering up I knew I wanted Bob Cohen's skill set on my side & I knew for sure I didn't want him on theirs so I was quick to get to him first. Bob Cohen is the white knight...... He takes the higher ground and you can sense it in all your conversations regarding your strategies etc but make no mistake because hands down this guy a freaking pitbull and he kicks some serious a#* on your behalf.... He'll wipe the floor with your opposition, he just has a special way of kicking a#* that comes across with dignity and intelligence. You will be so glad he's on your side. And in the end he gets you out of your marriage with your dignity, your wallet and your future entirely intact. I can't think of a single time in the year or two of my divorce that I felt differently. I'm a big fan of his not just for what he accomplished for me but moreover how he accomplished it. I can't stress enough how significant that is because it is such a stressful event in life. Your world is in question during divorce and you won't have all the answers... He'll help you find your way through it, you can trust him to protect you & your interests, and you can focus on you - knowing he'll handle the heck outta your divorce. I'm sorry you're looking for an attorney, that's never a sign of a high point in one's life, but at least with the right attorney you can be on track for a next high point in your future. Bob Cohen was my divorce attorney after a 28 year marriage. When I went to him I was petrified about something so foreign to me and mostly choosing the right attorney. The death of a marriage whether it was good or bad is so painful and the development overwhelming. Do your homework in choosing your lawyer but with the utmost sincerity I feel by choosing Bob you will be in such good hands. Once we got started I felt protected and at ease having him in my corner. He knows his field and he knows people, he will not sugar coat things but will really look at all angles and will consult with you about all the specifics to get the best end results. He has heart but his strategy, knowledge and seriousness makes him great at playing hard ball when he has to. Just on a side note a lot of emotions make people seek revenge or maybe the opposite feel like they want to give it all up and as a result it ends up costing you more pain and money. If you do choose Bob he will be fair with you and not drag things on but you really have to hear his advice on what he feels he can accomplish and what the ramifications will be. If you become a team you will find that his forthrightness will make the unfortunate experience manageable. Even at the end my x conceded and respected his defense. He is simply one of the best. I have worked with Mr. Cohen as a financial expert and have found him to be extremely knowledgeable as it relates to financial matters. In those instances where we have gone to trial, he is well prepared and an extreme advocate for his client. As an expert with the experience of over 100 trials, I would much rather be on his side than against him!
