On April I got a ticket by disobey traffic control device, I am a Truck driver so I was driving a semi truck (tractor-trailer) I was following my truck navigator which was guiding me by a truck rout 9W North, which connects with 287 east, but 3 miles before getting into 287 an officer stopped me and pulled me over, and he explained to me that it was a weight limit of 10tons, before getting into 287 east, but It was no way to me to make a U-turn especially when you hauling a 53 foot long trailer, by that way I do work for a contractor hauling stuff for US MAIL and I was heading to Stamford Connecticut, due a terrible accident in George Washington bridge, so my navigator gave me the best route, I even show my navigator to the officer and he was like, nah I can't help you out because this is my job and bla bla bla. So he gave me the ticket for disobey traffic control device, which was 2 points on your driving license and into your driving record which being a truck driver you never want points, because it is really difficult being hired if you have violations, anyway the next day I call to MR. Lee Shelton, he told me to not worry about it since I didn't have any point or other violation on my record, I felt relieved, by his words, he won the case on my favor avoiding points and other violation that included the ticket, ended up making a payment of $175 and was changed to parking violation, which not affect on your record. I completely recommend Mr. Lee Shelton, utterly professional, trustable words, no doubts on his job. Do not hesitate to call his office if you have any kind of traffick ticket.
