Everything went smoothly. He explained everything thoroughly and was very helpful and knowledgeable.

This is my 3rd deal with Brother Baksh and and if there are any in the future, they will certainly be with him simply because he is professional, reliable and as a person wonderful.

I've purchased a property (first time home buyer) last week with Mr. Affar Baksh. So far of my knowledge, he is one of the most experienced and practiced attorneys in the city. I went through various problems through out the entire purchase process but he handled those issues very carefully. My loan was about to expire because of some property issues but he make the purchase successful before the loan expire. I recommend Mr. Affar Baksh as a buyer or, seller representative for your real estate purchase.

Communication is REALLY bad, which caused unnecessary delays costing EVERYBODY money. Wish I could give zero stars but they won't let me.

Horrible. You won't ever actually speak to Affar after you hire him. Sad that you can't get legal advice from your lawyer. What you WILL get is the run around and no real answers to anything. Not today, not tomorrow, not next week, not ever. I honestly believe the majority of the good reviews here are written by close friends and family who never actually made the (bad ) decision to hire him because most are blatant lies. The firm has a complete lack of professionalism. His work is clearly done by the office staff and he has no idea what they are doing nor do I think he cares. I am currently compiling my paperwork so I can file a complaint with the Grievance Committee; specifically for violations of the New York Lawyer's Code of Professional Responsibility (mainly diligence, communication, and competence). Yes they are THAT bad. The errors this firm has made are too numerous to list here on a Google review. Ignore the good reviews (I genuinely believe most are fake, I won't say all, I'm sure he made someone, somewhere, happy at some point) but notice the similarities in the bad reviews (they are painfully similar and sadly accurate). I wish I would have listened to them. I wish you well in your home buying process. If you are here reading reviews to consider this firm. Do yourself a favor and DON'T.
