My experience is similar to others that gave 1-2 stars. Our initial call where we went over the Contract of Sale was positive, and Albert's efficiency during closing was much appreciated. However, during the rest of the months long process getting information from the firm felt like pulling teeth, they failed to forward a lien search report to the correct attorney (cost us a week), failed to disclose how much the title report and UCC search would cost, and failed to keep us updated regarding new developments. Thankfully we had a wonderful loan officer with whom we could get some of this information from; the entire process would have been terrible otherwise. Simple suggestions for improvement: - Be upfront with all costs with the client, be they standard or not, and present them in writing. No one likes to be surprised the day before closing by unexpected fees, especially if they are in effect non-negotiable (what will you do, cancel the contract and lose your deposit?). Our mortgage company did just this. - A client, especially a new home buyer, should be provided with a written overview of the process and who (you, the bank attorney, sellers attorney, etc) is responsible for what. If you choose to not invest much time to answer your clients questions, at least invest the time into writing a simple document with a flow chart. Our lender did this. - When you make a mistake, be upfront about it instead of having your client learn about it from other sources. Once a client's trust is broken it is hard to regain. Regardless, at least everything turned out all right. Wish you all the best!

Great Team, perfect work

I was referred to Ryan Walsh at Walsh and Gilad for the purchase of our condo. They were very responsive from beginning to end! I would send emails in the evening and they would respond immediately even though it was well after closing hours. Now that is service!! As is typical in closings, there were some adjustments to be made at the table however, Albert handled everything very well. I would highly recommend this firm for your real estate needs. They are definitely going to be my go to law firm for any real estate transactions.
