I have no idea where I would be today if it weren't for Jason Newfield. Daily, debilitating migraine symptoms forced me to leave my career. While looking for a disability attorney, I happened to find Jason's website and sent a message. He called me personally at 6:30 in the morning upon seeing the message. He shared very sound advice on what my first steps should be in the process. My brother who is an accomplished attorney guided me in vetting LTD disability attorneys. While he didn't know Jason, he said that he believed that Jason would be my best choice because of his credentials, experience and peer reviews. This is the best decision I have made. Jason has been the most fierce advocate for me. I can't count the number of times he guided me in something small, that had I mis-stepped it would have cost me. The old saying goes “you don't know what you don't know,” is so appropriate for handling LTD claims. Jason steered me clear of lots of quick sand. Jason knows his stuff, and takes the time to educate you so that you have plenty of understanding to make sound choices. Going through all of this with brain fog and other cognitive issues, I was not the best student. Still, Jason patiently explained complex legal concepts in a way I could understand. Filing for disability is so hard on so many levels. I'm not sure how I got so lucky as to connect with Jason before submitting my claim application and had him guide me through that. Don't wait to be declined before calling Jason, call him before you submit your claim (most of the quick sand is in this stage). We have had many wins fighting my LTD company. They will do anything to keep from paying you. Jason knows their tricks. Five years later, we continue to fight. Jason is a brilliant attorney. I'm so grateful to him.
