Brian Berkowitz gave his full attention to our case, was careful and thorough in preparation, smart about how to do things and very kind. I would definitely recommend him should anyone need a lawyer in the area.

I was charged with DWI and over the time that we were in court for said charge, Brian provided fantastic service as an attorney. He was intelligent, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to get into contact with, and remarkably effective. Whenever I e-mailed or called him if I had a question, he would get back to me that same day at the latest (often it was within the hour). By the end of my case, we had gotten my DWI reduced to a disorderly conduct. Brian is outstanding and I would highly recommend him to anybody who is in the market for an attorney.

I needed an attorney to represent me in Spring Valley for an Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree (misdemeanor) summons, and Drove Wrong Way on a One-Way Street (3 point) ticket. This was a 6 year old case, my license was suspended and I had a warrant hanging over my head for not responding. Unfortunately I've had more criminal and traffic cases then I want to admit in the last 20 years, so naturally I've had my share of attorneys represent me. I live in NYC but I wanted a local lawyer with experience and a good reputation to represent me. I did a lot of research. I read all the reviews and finally found Mr. Brian Berkowitz. As you probably know by now, the reviews on him are top notch. I decided to give him a try. There is a lot to say about my experience with Brian, but what I really want to say is WOW!!! The best all around representation I have ever received from an attorney on any case! I was impressed with the way he treated me from start to finish. He made me feel like I was his most important client. I could probably sing his praises for an entire chapter. Simply put, the man is not satisfied with anything less then having his client feel comfortable and confident at every stage of the case; beginning with the initial consultation to the minute you exit the courtroom with the most favorable judgement you could have reasonably hoped for. My two charges were reduced to a single no point ticket with the absolute minimum fine of only $100 plus surcharge. My suspension was lifted and I'm finally getting my driving privileges restored after all these years. That was my experience with Brian Berkowitz. Hopefully I will never need legal representation in a criminal/traffic case again, but I know exactly who I'm calling if I do.

Mr. Berkowitz is a knowledgeable and extremely professional attorney I could not be more happy with the service he provided and the outcome. Brian is a very intelligent, friendly person that is always available to help you. I hired Brian after I had made the terrible decision to drive my friend home after Cinco de Mayo. I got pulled over for speeding and ended up getting arrested with a DWI. I had a BAC of .13 and was driving 79 mph on a 55. Brian was able to drop my charges to a DWAI which is not a criminal offense, and dropped my speeding ticket to a parking ticket which does not add any points to your license. Brian was not only able to reduce my charges, but he was always available to answer my questions. He never left an email unread. My case was a little more complicated because although I am a Legal Permanent Resident, I'm not an American Citizen. Brian advised me to get an immigration lawyer, but as I could not afford two lawyers for my case, he found an immigration lawyer at no cost. Brian certainly goes above and beyond to help his clients, and I am very happy I have hired him.

Mr. Berkowitz assisted me with a moving violation. He was thoughtful, professional and incredibly knowledgeable of the Clarkstown court system. His process was streamlined and efficient-- I probably only invested 1 hour or so, spread out over a month, of my own time once I employed him. He exceeded my expectations and the charge was lowered to a parking ticket and the fine was reasonable and fair. I hope I never get another ticket in the town of Clarkstown but if I do I would absolutely hire him again.

Brian Berkowitz did a great job in handling a speeding ticket (64mph in a 40mph zone) that could have cost me 6 points and some heftly fines and increases in my insurance premiums. At each stage he was communicative and professional. He set the right expections. Result: Stopping/Standing on the Pavement with NO points. Highly recommend.

I recently received a speeding ticket 86 mph in a 65 mph zone (Route 87, Village of Suffern). I was looking at 6 points and a significant insurance surcharge. I found Mr. Berkowitz and a handful of other attorneys online. I called them all and Brian (I'm using his first name as he feels like a friend of mine now) stood out due to his ernestness to help, his demeanor on the phone and his fees. I immediately felt like I was talking to a close friend and knew I was in good hands. The icing on the cake is his fees were lower than the others I called. He walked me through what he expected would happen but never promised anything. He kept in touch throughout the process. The outcome was much better than expected. The ticket was reduced to a violation with no points and a reasonable fine. My driving record has been clean for a very long time so that most likely helped. Given my understanding of his experience with courts in the area, I absolutely don't think you would find someone to better represent you. If I ever need legal advice in the future, I will be calling Brian. Even if it falls outside of his areas of expertise, I would be 100% confident with his referral to another attorney.
