My interview experience with Woods Oviatt Gilman was a very interactive one. Although I was the one being interviewed, I had the opportunity to find out if this firm was the right fit for me. The team told me all about the firm's past, present, and future, and encouraged me to ask anything I wanted to know. People at this firm know how to bring out your true self and they evaluate applicants as a whole and as much more than just a list of skills and qualifications on a resume. I felt at ease and appreciated during my interview as the atmosphere is an extremely positive one. Any workplace that asks what they can do for you and not just what you can do for them, is the ideal place to be.

I worked with Peter Rodgers/Christine Potters/ Gail Martindale. This place is awsome. Peter was very thorough and explained every step detail by detail. Everyone is very professional and caring. He treated my case like I was his own. They truly are amazing lawyers and will fight for you every step of the way. I would recommend this place to everyone who is lookin for caring but thorough lawyers. I'm so glad I was able to bring my case to them. Even when we were frustrated, they were very patient and understanding. I couldn't have picked a better law firm!

Blunt and to the point, I have nothing but good things to say about Peter Rodgers and his team. I was in a pretty bad spot. Both physically and mentally. Not only did he understand my limitations but took the time to explain things to me regarding the case, the timeline and the entire process start to finish.( often more than once 😊). Zero diversity at this firm, all you have to do is look at their attorney directory; zero people of color. How can you "represent a broad spectrum of people," when your firm itself isn't a representation of a broad spectrum of people??

A friend referred me to John. I'm happy to say that John exceeded my expectations. He was very thorough in preparing both me and my case, managing all phases of the litigation. As it turned out, we did not have to go to trial, he negotiated a settlement that I am pleased with. If you are looking for a patient, highly perceptive, hard working litigation attorney, pick John. He took the time to be sure I understood everything that was taking place and kept me informed step by step. You won't be disappointed !

When I contacted Mr. Wells I was very emotional and very lost on what I could and couldn't do as far as my case. I talked to him about what happened and within minutes of him giving me advice I felt a sense of calmness and at that time I knew he was going to be the one to take me all the way to the end of my case. I WAS RIGHT! My case was long but medical malpractice cases are complicated and not going to be quick. It was handled in a professional manner and Mr. Wells is a very compassionate lawyer (something that doesn't always happen) and he will fight for you! I always felt confident knowing that he was behind me the whole way. I live out of State so he worked very well with that and always worked around what I was able to do in order to get up to NY for depositions, etc. If you have a medical malpractice case and you want a very good lawyer then look no further.
