We were very fortunate to have found John Wells. He was extremely patient with my elderly mother, always taking time to explain things in detail and being considerate of her needs. Regarding litigation, he was firm, knowledgeable and shared his experiences to our benefit. We had never been involved in any litigation before, so were so thankful for his expertise. John's comments "behind the scenes" showed us his strong sense of ethics and morality, which was very important to us. I am delighted to have worked with John and my mom is fortunate to have a favorable outcome.

I recently applied, interviewed and was accepted for a clerk position with Woods Oviatt Gilman. I saw the opportunity online after hearing about the firm from a friend of mine who does paralegal work elsewhere. I was initially contacted by Derek, the talent acquisition specialist, about conducting a phone interview. He instantly made me feel comfortable and was extremely informative about the position at hand. From there, I met him in person at the beautiful spacious office. This experience was no different and he again made me feel at ease and asked some important questions for the position. Finally, I met with the team leaders, learned more about each specific position they were hiring for, and eventually was presented an offer that I was very happy to accept! They were prompt at responding, and I would absolutely recommend keeping an eye out for open positions at this firm.

Interview process to work with them was extremely professional. The talent acquisition specialist was very courteous and I felt respected and valued before I even entered the door.

I brought my case to this law firm scared, nervous, and never expecting the out come we got. John Wells was amazing. He was very personable, professional, courtesy and always readily available to our family. It was like he was part of our family and going through with us the sorrow we were enduring. In the end we were over 100 percent satisfied with the outcome! It is very hard to relive what we had to relive, but he walked right with us the whole way! Jacqueline and her team at Lacey Katzen were there for me after my car accident. Jacqueline is truly an honest and caring attorney and a person who care about her clients. from our first meeting at my home because I was not able to drive she was straight forward and honest. She guided me threw the claims process, and helped me understand what to expect. We discussed how long it could take and that she would answer any of my questions I had along the way, Jackie was always willing to talk to me and update me on the progress of the claim or to just see how I was feeling and getting along. I have recently accepted an offer of employment at Woods Oviatt Gilman, and I found the hiring process to be streamlined, and straightforward. The Talent Acquisition Specialist, Derek VanOrman was there for every step of the hiring process, and was always available to answer my questions. I literally just got off the phone with the attorney at this firm named Jacqueline M Thomas in regards to a possible medical negligence claim. she was beyond rude and everything but compassionate.I am in shock! She really made me feel like I do not matter. As I was trying to explain my situation to her every time I kept trying to get to the issue. she kept cutting me off! how can you keep asking me a question and then cutting me off not letting me get to the point.I mean at this point I didn't even want to talk to this woman anymore.I'm going to have to dish out $1,500 for them to send my case to a physician outside of the area to have it reviewed because she didn't or wasn't sure by listening to me over the phone that there was a real case. How could you when she kept cutting me off. I'm completely appalled and I would never recommend anyone who's looking for compassion to contact this law firm. Their website is very misleading because it states on the website home page top left corner under the phone number (Passion. For People) that is a lie at least when dealing with Jacqueline. Also, she is a partner! I will make sure that everyone knows about her true Character if I am asked my opinion! I will not give up. Even if I have to wait and save to get a better qualified and a truly compassionate attorney to review what has happened to me. My situation is very new and very real. Part of my body is now deformed due to an outpatient surgery. I never received proper aftercare instructions from my physicians she even admitted that in the follow-up office appointment. And the issue that I have now due to the surgery was never advise to me that this could happen or be an issue due to the surgery. I will not give up.34 year old healthy woman before this and now everything is at risk. Follow up review 8/26/19 I received 2 phones calls today. One from Sarah in Operations/HR and a second one from Jacqueline herself. They apologized! I appreciate them taking the time to review my feedback. I will rate them with 4 stars. The reason for only 4 stars is to remind them that quality should always come before quantity. Lawyers are busy people, and I'm ok waiting an extra day to tell my story of it means you will be a better listener. Listening takes time, but missed information is priceless!
