Terrible experience; racist, rude, incompetent, disrespectful and condescending just to briefly describe him! He made easily avoidable mistakes on court documents such as my gross income and mortgage payments which is 2 of many errors he made to cause my case to be dismissed! I could forgive the mistakes but this guy is rude and arrogant to add insult to injury! He frequently confused my case with other clients he had when asking questions and submitting information to him claiming he didn't get it or his machine wasn't working. This made me submit all required documents in person to avoid any other mishaps. He would often brag how he is the best lawyer in town and "only one with advanced law tax degree" despite repeated mistakes through process! When I confronted him on phone about his tone, all the mistakes and not getting documents I submitted via email or fax he became defensive and dropped me as client! Guess a young black man couldn't correct or check the older white man. Unlike most negative reviews posted here I have proof via public records of case and email chains to prove my claims. I wonder if this guy can verify all his 5 star reviews...

Disgusting, Disrespectful, Condescending and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!

This case is years old and still pending to date You owe me the money i paid you mr Cook to do the bankruptcy . And took the money and ran did not fulfill his duties as a bankruptcy attorney owes me lawyers fees for not completing in his job do not trust him. If mr. Cook is a stand up guy he refund the money I paid him to do the job that he did not complete please respond. I the client was not allowed to speak to the trustee the attorney mr. Cook his toll to have have the trustee remove being he was not cooperating with him and instead. Mr Cook removed himself because he didn't want to go against the trustee for self financial reasons. So mr. Cook left me with a trustee that is uncooperative with him and myself. Now I'm stuck with mark pergament as a hostile trustee thanks mr. Cook for nothing It would have cost me less if I didn't file a bankruptcy thanks to you. This makes your case is over for yourself and now I'm left to defend myself in the bankruptcy because you bailed you. What the people need to know is that you do not finish what you started Any Excuse is still an Excuse this case is still pending and the date that you refer to is that the date you quit

He is the worst lawyer any one can hire. He is no help he just takes the plea bargain and never even shows up in court. He is extremely racist lawyer. PLEASE AVOID THIS LAWYER. I Don't know how he received 5 star in google review. If I can i would provide lower then 1 star. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT HIRE HIM TO REPRESENT YOU.

The entire bankruptcy process is intimidating, Mr. Cook reassured me that things would be fine and it was. I would recommend his services to anyone in need of a financial make over, safe, honest, reliable!
