I wanted to take a quick moment to comment on Ron Cooks behalf, as this is normally something I wouldn't take the time to do but for him Ill do it. My husband and I hired Ron Cook to help us with some legal issues we were having. We decided to use Ron after talking with other attorneys because we felt he was the most knowledgable and took the time to answer a lot of our questions. We literally put everything in his hands which was so scary for us to do and he worked wonders for us. Without getting into too much detail, I spent about 2 years trying to correct a fraudulent account on my credit report. I was pulling my hair out, being threatened to owe close to $12,000, threatened to have the money garnished from my hard earned pay check, all while they were DESTROYING my credit score. I met Mr. Cook during one of the most devestating periods in my life. I had invested my life's savings in real estate and the crash of 2008 happened. Everything I owned went underwater, never to come up again in the market. Many of my tenants could not pay their rents and then I could no longer pay the mortgages, taxes, HOA dues on the investment properties. I tried to sell them for 5 years but could not due to the values falling every year. It all kept snowballing for 5 years until I crashed and had to face the inevitable--I lost everything and needed to see if I could qualify for bankruptcy. All of my investment properties would have to be foreclosed on. In addition I was fighting to hold on to my primary residence and had applied for a loan modification for 3 years. I was denied unjustly and was served with foreclosure papers. I had my frail aging mother, two daughters, one with a baby and the other recovering from leg and back injuries for years, living with and dependent on me. I found Mr. Cook on the internet, researched his background and made my first appointment. I felt embarrassed by my whole situation. Mr Cook treated me with the upmost respect and dignity. He was patient and supportive and spent hours reviewing dozens of financial papers and coming up with a plan. He told me I had a chance at being qualified for a ch 7 bankruptcy and all my debt would be eliminated and I could start to rebuild my life. He also explained how I would be legally protected in all the foreclosures. He filed a countersuit to the bank that wanted to foreclose on my primary residence to help me fight to keep my home for as long as possible. I am so relieved to share that Mr. Cook secured my ch 7 bankruptcy in what was a very compicated case due to all my investment properties I had to surrender to the court. I am still living in my primary residence, over 3 years since I was served with foreclosure papers with no eviction in sight for the foreseable future. I Filed a personal bankruptcy with a failed business in 2008. A creditor received a judgement against me before the bankruptcy was discahrged by the court. I was fighting with the three credit reporting agencys for five years to remove the judgment. After five years I deceided to call an attorney . I went on line in January of this year and found Ronald S . Cook . I told him of my problem. Ron began right away asking me a few questions about the bankruptcy He then walked me thru a plan of actions that I needed to do to elimate the judgement from the credit reporting agencys.
