From my personal experience, this is the best criminal defense law firm in Central New York. Scott Brenneck was my attorney for a case in 2018 and helped me in every single way possible. There is no person I trust more to handle my case than him. He is responsive, intelligent, hardworking, experienced, and knows how to assert his clients point of view. He works non-stop to make sure you get the result you want. As a former Syracuse University student and Syracuse resident, there should only be one choice when you pick an attorney and it should be Scott Brenneck, 100%. Scott Brenneck represented me several years ago. I met him for a criminal case, and his services went far and beyond my expectations. In the years after I needed help with speeding tickets and some other stuff. He was more than accommodating. My favorite thing about Scott- he is going to tell you what you need to know not what you want to hear. He is a very nice person, but is a no BS person. Lawyers get a bad rap overall but Scott Brenneck is the MAN. He will give you the best representation for your money. If you are shopping around for lawyers- make this your first stop; it will be your last. I had Three speeding tickets in a month. I would have lost my license. I'm giving this rating because I really didn't like how my case was handled at all. I can't tell you how many times I called and rarely got a return call back. I wasn't really kept in the loop at all and I felt like they didn't advocate for me to have proper Healthcare like my previous lawyer did. I got a horrible settlement and now I have a permanent injury that was never properly treated. I couldn't get my doctor's or lawyers to help me find a proper MRI machine that could accommodate me. If I ever need another lawyer I won't be choosing William Mattar.
