Our family had (has?) a delicate situation that went on for close to two years prior to reaching it's denouement. Robert displayed a fundamental, and unwavering belief, that the law was designed to serve justice and not as a one size fits all punishment for ambitious up and comers to build their future political careers on. Through my family's entire travail of dancing through a repeat offense, Robert managed, with inspiration and some small amount of brilliance, to dig into the minutiae of the legal code and find precedent that caused the prosecution to be stymied at practically every turn from gross overreach.
