I am very unhappy with how my divorce case with Keith Brown was handled overall. I am unhappy with the strategy, lack of timely communication on multiple occasions, and exacting billing practices. Keith did not help me manage my ex who delayed getting an attorney. Instead he wasted my retainer drafting documents and discussing settlements that would never be signed. When a settlement was finally reached, the initial draft managed to “land in Keith’s spam” for weeks. Keith’s delayed reviews put me at additional risk. I had to call his office from a vacation just to forward the final signed document. Keith’s billing practices are exacting. The minimum hourly fee for sending and receiving all e-mails, regardless of legal content or length, is .10 hours ($47 at the time of writing), and the minimum fee to review an attachment is .20 hours ($95 at the time of writing). If you prefer asynchronous communication as I do, this fee structure is not a good fit and was not transparent at the outset.

If you need someone to take care of your problem, David Sachs is the person to do it. I had gotten my first speeding ticket ever by a very RUDE and rather active state trooper. I called the office for a consultation and he immediately returned my call. David was a very attentive listener, and reassured me that he was going to do his absolute best for the best positive outcome. With that being said, he delivered and saved me 6 points on my license. Where to start...in short: Andrew is the best friend you have as it pertains to either family or criminal cases. As a single father who adopted his son, I have always been used to discrimination. Single males are often stereotyped and incidentally, it never surprised me that I had to jump more hoops to adopt than a married couple or a single female. What I never expected was to have a CPS agent go rogue and allege some of the most heinous allegations against me. Said CPS agent no longer works as a CPS agent (Thank God), and I have filed a few civil suits as a result of this, but before I was in the clear: there were nights I would have anxiety attacks. I feared these agents would knock on my door and kidnap my son. I feared the adoption of my son would be overturned (yes, he tried to do that after there was no evidence of abuse/neglect). I feared his friends who were police officers and then, I feared the FBI after he made claims I'm a human trafficker. Months of my life were spent panicking. I must have called, emailed, and bothered Andrew a hundred times. I give him a lot of credit for not dropping me as a client. Andrew treated me as though I was a top priority; as if I was his only client. I knew I wasn't, and I also knew he is busy running a firm, but, yet, he treated me like I was his only client. This was so important as when you go through something like this--even if you are normally a calm and collected person--it tests you. I really appreciated him and I cannot recommend him enough. I am very grateful and I really do wish he did civil.
