I have had a wonderful experience at Markhoff and Mittman PC. From my first phone call, everyone I spoke with was professional and knowledgeable. They were patient with my questions and always responded to my calls/emails quickly. They included me in every step, explaining in detail what I needed to know. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone involved in a workmen's compensation case.

I have sustained two major injuries during work performance in 2018. My first phone call was to the Markhoff and Mittman law firm. The website made me feel that I was making the right phone call. The staff is not only reliable and knowledgeable but they are SUPER caring for their clients. I have received numerous gift box of brownies and gift cards for speedy recovery following surgeries. Totally disappointed! Had a workers comp hearing 3/1/23. I had neck surgery 5 months ago. My knee was just included in the case. How is it my pay got lowered?! We all know how. I should be technically 100% disability. Even if it's temporary but I should still have full benefits. With the just occurring conditions I just mentioned. Do not go with them. Benai Lifshitz! You did me wrong. Sad to say I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Out of a service fee of around $12000… roughly… my friend had a remaining balance of $1500. This office received my friends working authorization (a personal document) and refused to give it to her unless the balance was paid in full. Mind you this is what she needs to work to pay off the remaining balance. Totally unethical. So much for being “los defensores del pueblo”.

NY Workers’ Compensation is a very difficult state run program. I’ve spent 5 years dealing with them and can truly say that Markhoff & Mittman, P.C. Has been a great help and support. Special thanks to Benai and Beth for their patience with me.

So, although all the staff involved was very polite and helpful most of the time I was given a lawyer name, Mr. Jacobs that was very dismissive and discouraged Me a lot in our conversations and suggested I get a job as a door greeter at Walmart. He could’ve done better for me settling and negotiating, I was told I should’ve gotten more from others who are familiar with these types of cases however, Mr. Jacobs acted like he didn’t want to put the effort in to get what I deserve for my injuries which are permanent. So yes, I am disappointed to say the least. They build you up to think so highly of them and then you get stuck with a lawyer like Mr. Jacobs, who is very dismissive and discouraging. I thought I would have Marc off or Mittman not Mr. Jacobs. And I do not feel like I was in good hands. Very disappointing.

pues ase un año aproximadamente fui ahí, con mi ex esposo, por un lio, que se me hizo aka, con mis niñas mas chiquitas, y si, son muy buenos los abigados ahi, en aquel momento no contaba con los recursos economicos para salir del enrredo que me hicieron esra gente del DSS del 85 Court St aqui en white plains, donde me demandaron de negligencia, deje a mus hijas con su tia, la señora Karen L bonilla, me internaron 5 dias, desde 05-14-22 hasta 05-19-22 pero a nadie le ha importado ver mis papeles del hospital, solo saben decir que estoy loca , que sufro de salud mental, porque quien sabe quien , les dijo eso, pero como ellos estan en esa silla de jueces , fiscales , ellos creen que pueden hacer todo así , del modo que les caiga, sin indagar mas, sin cirroborar que no esten cometiendo injusticias, solo quiero decirles desde aqui a las autiridades respetsbles de esta su flamante ciudad White Plains , si algun daño mayor que mis GRITOS su frieron mis hihas en estos 9 meses que me han tenido restringida de verles o siquiera hablarles, usredes y solo ustedes , Mister bravo, Helen Cositos y Jazmin Hernandez y demas involucrados en este caso, ustedes y solo ustedes seran los responsables aqui y delante de Dios, siempre cuide a mis hijas, lo mejor que pude, trabajando a veces por temporadas , medio tiempo, con tal de estar ahi cuando llegaba su autubus, pagando mis rentas, a veces en dos pagos, i tres, pero las pagaba, y ustedes aqui en este su flamante ciudad NY solo han atropellado mis derechos y el de mis hijas, porque ustedes son felices haciendo todo al rebes --- pero ViVe Dios de Israel que El esta al tanto de todo esto,, me dijeron que si me tomaba un tratamiento de 30 dias de respidones, me devolverian mis hijas, y todavia estoy en espera que alguno de estas personas,hagan las cosas limpiamente, Pero Dios Eterno si save porque pasan las cosas , y El ha permitido que las cosas lleguen hasta este extremo, sin duda que si, pues nada se hace debajo del cielo que El no Permita, pero que Dios El Señor Dios de Israel, y mio Dios a quien e conicido en Cristo Jesús, se levantarà para jusgar entre ustedes y yo ,, claro que se levantarà , y entonces van a ver todos ustedes lo importante que es hacer Justicia y derecho a los demas, como Él manda, y no como a ustedes les parece,, porque si estan de jueces o fiscales, es porque Dios Eterno les dio sabiduria para llegar ahi, escrito esta que Él es quien pone reyes y quita reyes , ,-- dice la Santa palabra ,, sometase pues todo hombre a las autoridades terrenales, porque por Dios han sido Estanlecidas, y eso he hecho hasta ahora, me privaron de asercarme a mis hijas, razon que tampoco me dijeron de todo claramente, porque esa bendita orden de restriccion termino en 11-02-22 pero ustedes la extendeieron nada mas porque siiii pero Dios de Israel esta viendolo todo --

Scam!!!!! By far one of the most unprofessional law firm I’ve ever worked with, I lost all trust in this firm, I wish to say the opposite however I worked hard to get the help or at least meet half way with the team and they failed me my experience was destroyed my trust was broken, your team really failed me, I leave here with my pride shut down I’m robbed and broken down
