They provided excellent advice, and were responsive, personable, and encouraging throughout the process. I’m going to start off by saying I have extremely high standards. My sister and I hired Jeff and Janice to take over handling our father’s estate after a few months of having a terrible experience with the original firm we hired. Our main contact at Robshaw Voelkl was Janice and she was amazing from the very beginning. She got started on transitioning our case from the other firm immediately and seamlessly. She was always responsive, knowledgeable and compassionate. I never had to ask for a status update or follow-up on emails I sent. Most times, Janice got back to me the same day, often within an hour or two! It was very refreshing to work with someone who truly cared about her clients and work. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. I will definitely reach out to Jeff and Janice in the future, should I need any of their services.

Jeff Voelkl is a pretty special attorney. He has a very different approach with the client. I have worked in the court system for many years and I can tell you his way of handling clients and business is unconventional for this line of work. He sincerely cares for the client and is very patient and understanding in providing the best possible solution to someone's individual circumstances. We never felt rushed or like a bother even though our personal circumstances were very sensitive and complicated. In fact he took what was a very difficult situation and brought ease and order to it. We brainstormed ideas together and he continually pursued out of the box thinking in order to accommodate our circumstances. He has incredibly fast turnaround time, is very responsive and you don't have to wait forever for an appointment. I have to say, in this world where everyone is out to just get paid, it's hard to feel like anyone actually cares about you as a person. Most people just want your money. I would definitely say this experience was nothing like that. I would recommend this attorney again and again to anyone. In fact the very next week after we wrapped up I brought my parents to do their estate planning with Jeff. Again, he not only gave them the best option but he came up with creative ways to save them money in the process. Who does that nowadays? Jeff Voelkl is by far the best attorney that I have ever worked with. In handling my estate planning, he was incredibly patient, reassuring and professional. Jeff Voelkl responded very quickly to our initial inquiry. We had our first meeting 72 hours after our email exchange (Friday to Monday).
