I hired Al Messer to deal with serious stalking, assault and intimidation issues I was having with an anti-social and irrational neighbor who, it turns out has a track record of trying to intimidate people. This individual filed bogus assault charges against me, when I was the victim of the assault and ongoing intimidation. Mr. Messer worked diligently to understand the issues and took time to review the evidence I had and consider options. Using his experience, and connections within the court system, we were able to successfully work towards getting the bogus charges dismissed. Further, Mr. Messer successfully represented me to gain a restraining order against this individual, and when the individual failed to comply with aspects of the restraining order, Mr. Messer worked diligently to convince the judge to find in our favor that the individual was in violation of the order. Mr. Messer's knowledge of procedure, calendars, and the obvious respect of judges, DA and courtroom staff proved invaluable. Mr. Messer's legal assistant Sara was also really helpful and personable, and would always ensure my questions were relayed and responded to. Mr. Messer was also successful in getting the judge to award my legal fees, payable by the individual. I would highly recommend Messer Law to anyone in a similar difficult situation.
