Do not waste your money with this firm. My mother only met the attorney for 2 minutes during the eight months we were billed by their office. I finally took my mom to the Clerk of Courts office to close the estate.

Life does not always turn out the way you want it to. Unfortunately, my husband was diagnosed with dementia. I knew that through research, I would need to have a trust created. During my research, I came across Carolina Family Estate. They were active advocates for families dealing with dementia. It was the best decision I could make. I worked mainly with Lauren Quass. She answered every question I had. She explained things multiple times when I did not quite understand. I was able to express all my fears, and she went above and beyond in helping me make decisions that were right for us. I had to make these decisions on my own and question myself all the time if I was making the right decision. CFEP treats you more like a family member than just a client. They are always available. They answered my emails quickly. I also want to mention Kathy Morrisey, who worked closely with Lauren. She was also very helpful in getting me through this process. I know there are many who work in the background. They work together very efficiently. I would highly recommend them.

The team worked with Laura & me to build a family trust. Soon after the trust was established my wife died and the entire Carolina Family team (especially Jennifer Mercer) was there to help & guide me through the process. Their empathy and service is something that I will always remember. Simply, one great team to work with and they have your back.

I regret going to these people when my in-law died 2 years ago. We kept getting new bills after we had paid final bill (according to one of their employees). It was very hard to get clear answer from them about what we need to do and not thorough out the whole process.
