I was in a very troubling immigration situation and was going to have to leave the country because the government was going to deny my green card. I consulted multiple immigration attorneys, including top ones that write publications in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). All of the attorneys either refused to take my case or suggested I litigate in federal court. These options were really cost prohibitive for an immigrant and so I tried desperately to find a way to stay in the US without having to pay tens of thousands of dollars. I got introduced to Sammy Naji and he suggested we compose a detailed appeal. He said it was a long shot but it was worth trying. Sammy worked tirelessly over the course of three weeks to perfect the appeal. He consulted the government’s policy manual, found multiple statutes and precedent cases, and performed analytical work few lawyers are even capable of. He was kind enough to not even bill me for multiple hours of back-and-forth editing. After submitting the appeal and waiting an agonizing two months, the government found our appeal satisfactory and successfully granted my green card. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Sammy and the work he did. I literally have the right to live in the US because he found a way out for me when no one else would help. Most lawyers nickel and dime for templates they already have sitting on their computer. They refuse to take complex cases because of the analytical work required to win them. Sammy is the opposite. He is the lawyer you want on your team. He is responsive, caring, empathetic, and has genuine respect for the law. I can’t recommend him enough.
