Extraordinary lawyer. The story of Eli will be told among my family for generations. Eli came with the big guns. Evidence in triplicate and subpoenaed nearly half the police department of a small town nearby Charlotte, NC. Eli came extremely well prepared to tear the arresting officers to shreds on the stand under oath. Audio evidence, body cam footage, Eli even found “missing” footage they tried to hide. He had them sweating. Every action they made, scrutinized for potential mistakes that could be used to our advantage. All the police officers looked like deer in headlights waiting their turn for the gallows. Unfortunately, the prosecuting DA took one look at the ‘big bad Charlotte lawyer’ and waived the white flag. Usually, Eli would request dismissal, but the DA came to him with a tail between the legs, apologized and dismissed the case without trial!! They silenced Eli to prevent him from destroying the officers under oath… astounding. This is the second time I’ve seen Eli in a professional setting.
