I had a work related issue that I needed resolved in regards to a non-compete with my present employer. I was recommended by someone to contact Matthew Flatow. He not only was able to explain all of the legal aspects of the non compete to me, but brought up his personal concerns in regards to me signing it. In the end he was able to negotiate the terms of my non-compete to help favor my future. I am very grateful for his hard work and attentiveness.

I met Mathew Flatow on the battlefield many years ago as a worthy opponent on 2 cases when he worked with another firm. His professionalism kept him in my contacts and one day, I needed to sue a corporation on my own behalf. A lawyer should never represent themselves so I didn’t hesitate and called Mathew and got to experience him as my attorney and the firm overall. True to form, no prisoners were taken and my cases had amazing outcomes. Almost a year ago, he reached out asking if I wanted to go back to the battlefield with him on a complex Federal case. I didn’t hesitate and found myself immersed in paper and law. They say you don’t know someone until you live with them. After working with Mathew, many times 18 hours a day, for months, at SeiferFlatow gave me an in-depth view of how he/they worked as a team in the various departments and I was so impressed, I began associating the Mathew on many of my civil litigation cases. I enjoy working with him immensely. He is thoughtful, attentive to clients, has a big brain for the hard stuff that makes my eyes glass over and he takes every hurdle thrown in stride. When we work on a particularly complex matter together, it is 24/7 access to each other because the work comes first. I have been on the other side of the table as his opponent (thank God we don’t have to do that again). I sat next to him as his client and have walked into court beside him as his second chair. In each, he excelled. I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to get to know him on all levels. Ps. He plays a mean game of racquetball!

I have been working with Mathew for years. He helped me start my business about seven years ago and basically served as an outside counsel whenever we had regulatory issues, personnel issues, litigation issue and even an arbitration. Of all our "vendors" Mathew and his associate Liz were the most available. Whenever we had an issue, they were on it. Recently, I decided to sell my company and start a new business. The sale was a major undertaking and Mathew and Liz marshaled it without a hitch. It was a three week rolling closing and they made sure the trains stayed on time. Really impressive. Now that I am opening a new company, they also have the knowledge to get everything in order. I recommend Mathew and his firm for your business related issues. From the document work to litigation, they do it all. I will continue to use them in the future.

I been working for a big company here in charlotte for over 20 years and it was a really good relationship until i got hurt. It wasnt my fault at all. I was just stacking the boxes like i alwaus do and the shelving came down on me and it hurt bad. The insurance company for my boss said i was messing aroudn and wouldnt have gotten hurt if i was paying attention. I didnt want to hire an attorney because i really like my company but i was not able to work at all and needed my bills paid. I found mathew on this website and he met with me same day. I wont go through all the details but he really saved me and my family on this one. His office was great and he did a really good job making sure everyhing was taken care of. five stars from me!
