I came to Jay White with an urgent matter that had to be handled quickly. As a busy mom, I accidentally missed a trafficking court date and needed help resolving the matter. Jay didn’t hesitate and quickly resolved the issue. He was so kind, very professional and made sure to keep me updated along the way. I highly recommend!

Cracker jack box lawyers that lie about advice they give that they shouldn't. Very disappointed with them. When you think of crooked lawyers they come to mind.

I was referred to Jay White Sr. by my sister. I'd always heard nothing but positive things about Jay. My sister and I both called him. I was told he would represent me and gave me his price. (Fair and Affordable). Itod him I would call him back the next day to let him know if I was able to afford him or not. When I called back I had to leave a message. No one ever called back. So my sister and I went to his office and talked to his secretary(very nice Lady), she talk to us and made copy's of my paper work . She told us Jay would call us back but no one ever called. Im not saying this firm is a bad choice I always heard Jay is good, maybe he was busy that day. I Just believe everything happens for a reason. You get what you pay for. Use your money wisely. Call around and talk to as many lawyers as possible, and go with the one best for you. It never works out when you go by some one else's experience. We all have bad days.

H. Jay White is a incompetent lawyer. As well as Dutch Enwhistle. These two will take your money and ghost you. They were unable to lower a speeding ticket on my brothers first offense (unheard of), and Dutch will no longer respond to emails regarding matters I've encountered even though I have him on retainer. This law firm is outdated and I would not refer my worst enemy here, as everybody deserves fair representation. This is he opposite of fair representation.

The biggest issue this law firm has is their attorney, Austin "Dutch" Entwistle III. The integrity of Dutch is non-existent, his mood swings are like an elevator (up and down), and his treatment of clients is shameful. Trust me when I say he does not care about what you have hired him for. At the beginning, he will talk with a great deal of bravado, but you will quickly learn it is just that... all talk. Dutch is his worst enemy. He desperately wants to be known as a powerful attorney, but he lacks the traits that constitute that reputation. Traits such as truth, maturity, honor, commitment, and empathy. You will have wasted your time and money.

Love this attorney. Very professional and diligent. He communicates well and makes sure you talk about what needs to be talked about and shows that he cares. Mr.White is a great lawyer. 5/5 stars. I highly recommend hiring him.

Had to ask this firm for a refund. The lawyer didn’t do any work after he was paid. After I got my money back, they sent me letter saying “Sorry they couldn’t give me the proper attention my case deserved “

Terrible attorney. Very condescending and has accomplished very little in his career. If you want an attorney who will put forth an effort in helping you in your case, Jay is not it. Not sure who he thinks he is but he sucks!!!

Jay White is the most incredible lawyer in the world. All new criminal lawyers run the game of using fear and doubt to set low expectations. Jay does the opposite by removing fear and truly making you realize that he is fighting to better your life. THIS MAN CARES and his staff is the best supporting cast I have ever dealt with in the legal arena. Allison is an angel 😇 and in fact this whole team is an Angel 😇 Network. They will restore your faith in humanity. They are honest and family 👪 oriented. They will work with you on fair fees but I promise you will want to give them more. I felt like Jay under charged me for the comfort and professional service that he and his team provided. This firm is the best in the business. Caring is unparalleled. Attorney James White IV handled my daughter’s adoption. The entire process was smooth. He and his paralegal Mrs. Vines were kind, communicative, and very patient with me from the beginning until the end. Thank you so much for making our family permanent!

Unless they can make a lot of money, they won’t even take a consult. I was referred to Jay White by my Metlife Legal Plan. I was told I get a free consultation. He only offered to do the paperwork on my behalf for $900. Now I know it’s paperwork I can do my own so I called back and spoke to his secretary since Metlife said they do not cover the paperwork, but that a consultation with Mr.White for guidance on the process is covered. Apparently that’s not enough money because not only did they not call me back, I had to call Alison where she advised he would not do the consultation because there is “a lot of paperwork.” Exactly, hence why I wanted some guidance since I am new to NC. Well although he would get paid, he doesn’t even have the decency for a 15 minute consultation. I was going to go to another attorney here for my final will and directives for my husband and I, I wouldn’t go for free. Rude and unprofessional. Why sign up under a legal plan if you refuse to honor the commitment? Typical lawyer.

He's a horrible lawyer. He's washed by the system. Doesn't care about his clients. He'll tell you one thing and go in front of the judge and say something completely different. Just robs you for your money. Do not use him!
