I was in the process of buying my home from a friend who was in the final stages of Cancer. We learned on a Thursday that she was to start heavy pain meds the next afternoon. I called Adelia at 2:30 pm in a panic. The property had been inherited from her deceased husband from his deceased sister who’d inherited it from her mother…whose name was still on the deed. With a Hurricane approaching Friday at noon, somehow they pulled off a miracle!!! At 11am all parties were in her office and money was exchanged, papers signed and filed and I had a home! As we were leaving the first bands of the huge storm hit! I will forever be grateful for their dedication, kindness and understanding in such a stressful situation.
