During a time of concern for the health status of a loved one, the stress that ensues can seem overwhelming. Those times require people who are experts, competent , kind and comforting. Just almost by happenstance, my dad and I found Caroline Knox and her incredible staff. What they helped with and the care with which they acted, was worth it's weight in gold. Now 3 years or so later....I....this time by myself, have reached out to them again. I can assure you that they are the "real" deal. Once again that expertise, competence and kindness are apparent and the stress that comes with an issue such as this is mitigated by their methods and approach as well a. Life can be tough and we need people to help us navigate the uncharted waters. Caroline Knox and her staff are just the ones to do that. Their knowledge and judgement is of great comfort in rough times. If you need an elder care attorney, you would be remiss if you did not at least, take afvantage of a consultation. Very disappointed with this firm. We did get an informative consultation regarding setting up a trust for my elderly mom and updating her will and POA. However during the consult we were promised a summary of what we had discussed, including estimates and explanation of what we had discussed. After several weeks I followed up with one phone message and an online message reminding them of their promise of summary. Several more weeks work no response I contacted Ms. Knox personally and spoke with her. She apologized and promised immediate attention to the matter ab's would be sending summary. That's been at least three months ago and have yet to hear back. I understand that we didn't pay anything for initial consult but if someone promises something and never delivers I wouldn't want to do business there anyway. Very disappointed....m
