I hired Ms. Gillett when I was a new mom at only 17. She and her team at the time were always very kind to me and treated me like any other mother, even at my young age. She fought for me and my family tirelessly for four years. Even once our case reached a point where our family needed an attorney specializing in something else, she was able to refer me to the best lawyer for my current needs. She does not let anything slide in court, holds people accountable, and truly had our best interest at heart for the many years we worked with her. We will forever be grateful to her and would recommend her to anyone needing assistance with family law.

Monica is an amazing attorney who fights for her clients. She is compassionate and an amazing communicator with her clients! She is amazing to watch in the courtroom and would highly recommend her if you need help with child custody issues!

AWFUL so called attorney. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! My mom used her services and wasted over $4000. Her office staff and paralegals were rude and hateful. She would charge almost $70 for an email or phone call and if you didn’t answer (because some people have to work) would still charge you for making the phone call AND more money for leaving a voicemail. My mom wrote an email stating her frustration with one of her paralegals and her rude comments, and she charged my mom $70 for just writing an email voicing her concerns!! And on top of that, charged again for responding to THAT email. When all was done, my mom dropped her and got a different lawyer who settled my mom’s divorce within two months and only charged her a small portion of the amount Monica Gillette did. she got absolutely nothing done for 7 months and took thousands of dollars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!

We received prompt and courteous service with extremely reasonable rates. Our legal issues were resolved in much less time than anticipated and we are very happy with the end result. If we were to need legal services again (we can hope not) we will definitely choose Ms. Gillett to take care of those.

Worst lawyer I have ever had. Made sure to always ask for money but only did the bare minimum. I got more done with my next lawyer in 2 weeks than she did in 6 months. Don’t waste your money.
