Eric is a very affordable attorney. Both him and his office are responsive. He was also able to get my traffic ticket dismissed so I’m very pleased with that.

Due to Covid my court date got moved around multiple times which caused Attorney Skager to miss my court date at first. However, when I reached out to Attorney Skager about my DMV notice he assured me that he would take care of it and he sent me the new court date. On the date of court Attorney Skager reached out to me to notify me that he got the ticket completely dismissed. What started out as a little bit of a rough experience got resolved in the best possible way.

On two separate occasions I received a speeding ticket and a ticket for an expired registration. I opted to retain Mr. Skager to handle both tickets on my behalf. However, due to COVID the courthouse was closed so my court dates changed several times, but I was notified by mail each time the scheduled dates changed. What I thought may have been another notification that my court dates were changing turned out to be a notice that my license would be suspended in approximately 90 days because I (Mr.Skager) failed to appear in court. I reached out to Mr. Skager several times between getting the notice in mid May and before I was finally able to speak with him on June 2,2021 about the matter. I was told the court cases were being merged and he would be in court on my behalf for both on July 13,2021. On July 14,2021 I reached out to Mr. Skager and he assured me he would call me back which he never did. I reached out to him several times again to no avail. I finally called the clerk’s office to get the information I needed regarding my two cases. On July 28th,2021 I finally received an email from him with details about both cases and the total amount that I would have to pay. Using the link provided in his email I went to view the court costs for my speeding ticket and there is a $200.00 fee for failure to appear in addition to the other court costs listed. I am now responsible for paying an extra $200 that I should not have to pay due to Mr. Skager’s negligence and he has not responded to my phone calls or email about the matter. I am highly disappointed and I would not recommend him.
