I took my ticket to his office and he told me exactly what he could do and quoted me what I felt like was a fair fee for his service. He con't my case one time so I could finish paying and then took care of the case before the next court date. Upon finishing my case I recieved I letter from him telling me the outcome. Mr Popkin has a large yellow ribben on his door that says " I support our troops". I believe he does. I would recommend this attorney to all my fellow Marines.

I hired Mr. Popkins after receiving a felony speeding/eluding charge in Onslow Co. while stationed at Camp Lejeune. At first he seemed eager and very easy to work with and even set me up on a payment plan which is a great asset in today's economy. Prior to our actual trial date I received military orders to Okinawa, Japan for my next duty station. I spoke with him about this transition numerous times and was assured I could carry out my orders and I would not have to appear in court that he would have it all handled. After completing my deployment I returned to find out that nothing had been handled. A warrant was out for my arrest and my licenese suspended. Upon trying to contact him he wouldnt speak with me and now 6 years later I have to travel to NC to turn myself in and try to get all of this behind me.

After paying an entire fee up front, I waited patiently for nine months for a simple case to be taken care of. I was then rebilled for the amount I had already paid for, and then discovered that my issue had not even been resolved. Finally, a family member that is an attorney in another state sent a letter for me to help get the issue resolved. Awful service and total incompetence. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.
