I’ve worked with four lawyers at the firm for my very long divorce case. My my main attorney was Lillie Ashworth, who was excellent and won every single hearing we attended in three years. When she was on maternity leave, Sarah Provette took over, and I had the same excellent results. Even since not having them as my attorneys anymore, Gracie Glover has been very helpful on a fee basis in helping me file, motions, etc.… I would not hesitate to hire anyone from this firm because everyone I worked with there has been excellent and I can tell they only hire the best.

Holly King is wonderful. Holly has helped me every step of the way while working towards settling custody matters. With skill, generosity and compassion, Holly cares to understand, address and work through each challenging custody detail. No doubt I’m incredibly fortunate to have her by my side!

I am very thankful for Jeff and Ashley. They helped me and my girls through a very difficult divorce situation. Everything I read about guys going though a a divorce I expected to lose everything, but these two were able to negotiate a fair settlement between me and my ex-wife. I also, appreciated their desire to settle out of court and not use my marital issues as an opportunity for financial gain. 5/5!

We had a complaint filed against us to CPS and we were immediately dumbfounded. We consulted and hired Holly King and not only did she help us navigate the legal system she STRONGLY protected our constitutional rights. It’s so true NEVER talk to CPS without a lawyer don’t be fooled they are just like the police just without the gun and badge. Holly is down to earth and approachable. In court she is a rock star sharp quick and calculating and creates magic you can see she is very solid in her skills and performance. Highly recommend granted this is the worst thing to ever happen to a parent and it’s unfortunate we have to hire lawyers to protect ourselves from false accusations but if you want the best Holly is the one!!

Was referred to Marshall and Taylor, specifically to Sarah Privette through another attorney. She is very good at what she does and gives you the complete picture with options to consider. Made this unfortunate process alot easier. She definitely knows what she is doing.

Lillie Ashworth and the team at Marshall & Taylor are phenomenal. The care that she took with my case was so incredibly detailed. She asked me questions I hadn't thought to ask myself. She really heard what I had been through; and she was truly invested in creating the safest outcome for my son. She took over the process and suddenly I had space to heal. With her dedication and focus, I was able to obtain full legal and physical custody of my son. She brought us consistency and safety. These things cannot be taken for granted. The non-custodial parent with whom I was going to court was a lawyer who had manipulated my idea of what family law was and what my rights were. She knew this and explained everything, every step of the way. I never doubted that my son and I were in the best hands that Raleigh had to offer. Because of Marshall & Taylor, and Lillie Ashworth, the difficulty was short and felt much more doable. No one expects to need a family lawyer. But if you find yourself in need of one...these are the people you want protecting your child's future. Because they actually care about it.

I can't say enough good things about Jeff Marshall and firm. Going through family matters is never easy, but Jeff's expertise and empathy made all the difference. He listened, explained, and fought for me every step of the way. Jeff is not just an attorney; he's a caring ally who gets results. His team was professional, responsive, and supportive. Ashley Kevitt helped me at the absolute very last minute with a domestic violence order of protection against my former boyfriend who tried to suffocate me. I felt uneasy going into court alone, Interact said they would be there for me but pulled out at the last minute. Ashley made the stressful and scary process much easier. She asked me the questions, the judge only asked a few questions and mostly after she made her decision. Having Ashley there was reassuring that I was doing the right thing and she made my hearing go smoothly. I may have had the same outcome without Ashley's help but I feel that her assistance was worth the money. I felt sorry for the women who were there alone. Thank you so much Ashley. I feel safer now.

Lillie Ashworth represented me in my separation and divorce process and I could not have asked for a better experience. I would not have been able to get through this stressful time in my life without her. She is very knowledgeable about laws and documents regarding domestic violence and equitable distribution and did a wonderful job communicating things to me in a way that I could understand them. She was proactive and she fought for me against my ex and his schemes and she ensured that I came out of the situation with the best possible outcomes. She was gracious and patient with me and my family when we were emotionally overwhelmed and she was caring and compassionate in her responses. She did an excellent job of responding to my questions and inquiries and she was organized and thorough in every email and document that she prepared on my behalf. I do not know how she balances it all because she has a large case load of other clients, but she truly cares about the needs of each of her clients and she is present in the meetings that she has with each person. I am not sure how I could have navigated this past year without her by my side and I am extremely grateful for everything that she did for me. I highly recommend Lillie Ashworth and Marshall & Taylor for anyone who might find themselves in a similar situation!
