Very Professional Staff. They actually CARE about YOU.

Having Lisa Angel represent me during the most difficult time in my life was a godsend. Her constant availability, fierce advocacy and sage advice kept me focused on what was important in my divorce settlement process and block out at times the unhelpful noise from friends and family. I would recommend her to anyone contemplating divorce and wanting a very experienced hand and fighter in your corner.

If you are considering separation, divorce, or find yourself struggling within a difficult marriage I would strongly recommend that you call Lisa Angel. To be honest, I wish I had met w her earlier in my process because she was able to help me with answers to questions that felt confusing and overwhelming. I would not hire an attorney without first consulting with her. It is completely private. She provided all the resources I needed to reach a fair and equitable settlement, she is supportive and lighthearted around matters that are otherwise distressing. She was able to find excellent parenting coordinators who have made my life 100% easier and stress free. She is patient and kind, while being able to negotiate successfully with wealthy, powerful, difficult people. She has good working relationships with other firms and their attorneys. Cannot recommend her more.

Well known scammers. I would read other reviews especially from peers who try to use this place. This rating is inflated. They are thieves. Check Facebook groups with people who used them. Probably the worst there is. Steal many thousands

I am so glad I found Lisa. She did an excellent job representing me and my daughter. Her website is dense with useful information to help you understand, prepare, and manage the entire process. She guided me through with skill, knowledge, patience, and strategy. I trusted her completely so was comfortable following her advice in the arbitration and knowing that she would negotiate the best possible outcome for me and my daughter. This allowed me to be less defensive during the arbitration which made it much less stressful than I anticipated. While neither my soon to be ex-husband nor I got everything we wanted, we each got more than we expected which, in a contentious divorce, is an outstanding outcome. I appreciated having one blanket fee so I knew exactly what it was going to cost and could budget. I recommend her unconditionally. I hope you are lucky enough to be represented by Lisa Angel.

Heidi Bloom (family law @ Wyrick Robbins) made me reschedule a hearing in Durham Co in late 2018 because she had a previous engagement. But she lied and said it was because all the judges in Durham are 'numbskulls' and wouldn't understand my UCCJEA case. She said we needed to file in Wake County where, I later found out, her husband is a judge! We lost because Heidi left out BOTH court orders that proved our case! It was such a blatant omission, I have to wonder if she did it on purpose. She also never bothered to show up to the hearing I rescheduled to accommodate HER schedule, and sent a junior attorney without obtaining my consent to do so. After she lost my case, she told me she never had the court order in question and tried to extort $700 to "call in some favors" to get it! I showed her proof that she'd had the documents for six months, and she responded that she "couldn't be expected to read everything!". Then she delayed my appeal until the last minute and told me I'd need to pay her $10,500 to proceed to correct HER negligence! My appeal ended up being handled pro bono by DVLeap, an anti domestic violence charity. Sadly, I lost the case there, too, because I couldn't bring up the court order Heidi neglected to include! Heidi is a very dishonest attorney. She has caused my family over four years of torment cleaning up her negligent mess. She also neglected to disclose that she's Facebook friends with BOTH lawyers for the opposing side. Extremely dishonest human. Beware. Check out AVVO for other bad reviews from her past clients. I advise this because I wish I'd known how destructive hiring her would be to my family. By the way, when I brought all of this to the attention of Wyrick Robbins' general counsel, they threatened to sue me! PLEASE AVOID THESE PEOPLE.
