Great experience from Daphne and her whole team!

Melanie is absolutely phenomenal! I unfortunately made the mistake of retaining a legal firm ( won’t mention their name) who’s lawyer accomplished NOTHING for me except legal fees. That all changed when I was lucky enough to find Daphne Edward’s firm during a googling search. I had my consult with Daphne and within 5 minutes in I knew I was retaining her team. Melanie is extremely well versed/ knowledgeable in Family law. She listens, comes up with several different strategy approaches to which allows her to fully protect you and be prepared to file any motions if needed.Can’t forget my former attorney failed to tell me I had til a certain date to respond to a civil suit I was served with BUT Melanie got right on that and corrected it. I truly can write an essay raving about these ladies and their staff! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I hired Daphne to help me with my custody modification case. In fact, I did not start out with Daphne but had to hire her after firing my previous attorney for lack of responsiveness, lack of strategy and lack of court preparation. I can't overstate how different my experience with Daphne has been from the very start. She was very open and honest when discussing the case with me. She listened to what I was looking for in my representation and provided various strategies. She has been great about listening to my fears and concerns and then easing them. She was ALWAYS responsive to my e-mails and questions, which frankly in my situation was weekly. I always feel better after talking to her. She is a wonderful communicator, keeps me informed about where we are in the process and what the next steps will be. I have 100 % confidence in her. When I thought it was going to be nearly impossible to get my son back, not only did Daphne lay out a plan to get my son back and set up the strategy, but she also walked me through the plan, helped me reach my targeted objectives. From the moment I met Daphne, I knew she was the one to get the job done. She and her team have been professional, exacting, prompt, and, at the same time, very approachable and made themselves available to answer questions or provide news on progress during the process. I am still in the process of working through the dispute but have been very happy with the work Daphne has done so far. She is someone who fights for her clients. My only regret was not finding her sooner. I would highly recommend Daphne for anyone seeking an honest and trustworthy attorney.

Skilled in analyzing the pros and cons of your case as well as understanding the nature and benefits of the court system as it relates to your specific concerns and needs. Realistic and firm when needed, but also compassionate. I would highly recommend.

Ms. Edwards, from the beginning of my initial consultation regarding divorce was very sharp and the only attorney who gasped and told me to repeat myself when I told her of one of the most egregious acts committed on my by my ex-wife where others seemed like it was typical. I also worked with Ms. Melanie Pfeifer and the star of my show, Ms. Ashley Fillippeli. Ashley and the team were absolutely fantastic, they were so patient with me and my situation. That being that I resided 500 mi away from Raleigh throughout the entire process. That added a layer of anxiety on my part, yet Ashley treated me like I was a block away. She communicated with me via phone, email and text. Like a Swiss Watch, she worked to align everything that would work in my favor, including getting the appraisals on the marital home, ultimately calling all the right shots during a marathon 9 hr mediation using Zoom.
